I'm Faith, an independent pet-sitter and dog-walker based in the Numama neighborhood. I have over a decade of experience petsitting and dogwalking around the world. I love all animals that woof and meow, but I have a particularly soft spot for giant dogs, such as Great Danes and Newfoundlands, and nakeys (Sphynx cats). Our pets are family, so I treat them as I would treat your (human) sons and dau

ghters. You should be aware that pet services are a freelance job for me and I am not currently insured. USD cash is strongly preferred, but I also accept PayPal and JPY cash.

It's getting hot out here! And humid. So. Humid. Also, I am pretty packed with pets and personal plans out of the country until August 10. I may be able to take on short (1-3 days) here and there between now and mid-July on a case-by-case basis - just slide into my DMs.

Just like that, it's May and we're closing in towards the second half of the year already!? PCS season is upon us, but only one of my regulars is saying saynoara 🥹 Summer availability is very slim, but if you're in a pinch for short (~10 days) breaks when I'm in town, I can see if it'll work out. Finally, while things are getting more expensive lately (have y'all seen the price of rice out on town...), my rates will remain the same for the year.

With the remaining awake hours of the day, I work on Japan Multisport as a triathlon coach. I'm also a freelance sports event specialist - which is why I'm unavailable about one weekend each month - I'm working weekends at a sports event. I do everything from helping English-speaking athletes navigate athletic pursuits in Japan, translating and interpreting sporting event media and communications, coordinating event preparations, and providing on-site support for race organizers. Sports events I've worked at include the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Spartan Race, the Yokohama Triathlon, the Tokyo Marathon, and more!

Is it spring yet? With the first two months of the year behind us, I'm seriously looking forward to basking at the simple pleasure of being at home most of March. I'm a true homebody who loves being anchored to the humble abode! That also means I'm around to look after your furry children🥳

Wow, this has been the longest month ever 😅 January was fairly busy looking after 7 dogs and 1 cat across 5 households and 19 days with no overlaps. But all the pets were familiar to me, having seen them regularly for the past few months, if not years from when I began petsitting and dogwalking in Zushi in 2021 🥰
