Great rescue team!!!
​Around this time every year, breeders in the Niigata area face natural disasters like flooding and landslides, which cause severe damage to mud ponds and access roads. Right after the disaster strikes, the recovery work begins—repairing the damage and bringing assistance to the affected ponds.

At Marushin Koi Farm, this year's breeding phase has been successfully completed. Next up is our rigorous culling process to ensure only the highest quality Tosai make the cut.

This year, alongside our signature traditional varieties, we are thrilled to introduce a special variety that we are producing for the very first time... Stay tuned for the next update!
