🌼💔 Daisy Rushed to the ICU Again 💔🌼

This morning our brave little fighter, Daisy, was rushed back to the ICU after showing signs of distress. She’ll need to stay in hospital for 1–2 days while the vets run tests and monitor her closely 🏥🐾

The vets have found air trapped in Daisy’s left lung (the technically non-existent one). While it isn’t leaking right now, there’s always a risk it could. Her blood gases are lower than normal, and X-rays show more white in her lungs than before, leading vets to suspect asthma. They’ll be testing her blood for inflammation markers to determine if steroids are safe to try, and adjusting her medications to give her the best chance possible. What’s most concerning is that Daisy, who usually fights through procedures, didn’t resist this time, leaving vets worried about her strength 💔🐱

Her deposit for this stay alone was ¥60,000, and the final cost will likely be much higher by the time she’s released. With Kawakuji at full capacity for foster and hospice animals, and donations dwindling fast due to Daisy’s ongoing but necessary hospitalizations, we are once again asking for your support 🌸🙏

Our brave little one-lung wonder is still busy with her training and treatments 💪💖 Daisy continues her oxygen practice, has been working on her harness skills, and is still sampling different foods to see what makes her taste buds happiest 🍗✨

She’s got a big appointment coming up soon, which we hope will give us more answers about how to make her future as bright as possible 🌈💛 For now, we’re simply enjoying watching this tiny trooper grow stronger, play harder, and spread endless love despite her challenges. Daisy may only have one lung, but she’s got a heart twice the size 💕🐱

🎉🐾 Big Day for the Trio! 🐾🎉

Our little dream team — Big Joe, Brave Rudy, and Little Tony — just reached a huge milestone! 💉✨ Yesterday they received their very first vaccines and had their blood tests done, and we’re over the moon to share that all three tested negative for both FIV and FeLV 🙌💛

With their one-month quarantine officially over, these three are ready for the next steps toward adoption: surgery, their second vaccines, microchipping, and a bonding assessment to see if they’ll be adopted together or paired off 💕🐱

And here’s the fun twist — when they first arrived, all three were so tiny that the vet thought they were all boys. But their foster parent started noticing a few “discrepancies” between Tony and her brothers… and today’s checkup confirmed it: Tony is a girl! 🎀 She may have surprised us, but this sibling trio still plays, cuddles, and grows together just like always 🐾💓

Our tiny warrior princess is reaching milestone after milestone! 🌟 With her brand new nebulizer chamber, Daisy’s breathing treatments are smoother and more comfortable than ever ✅💨 She’s also started harness training to safely explore the world beyond her oxygen box, adding a whole new level of excitement to her days 💕

Inside her box, she now has a cuddly friend with a heartbeat simulator to keep her company when humans can’t be close 🐻💓 She’s continuing her lower-oxygen practice like the brave little fighter she is, and her new smart collar gives us a complete picture of her breathing, eating, playtime, and rest — helping her care team ensure she’s always at her best 🩺✨

Yesterday was the start of a brand new chapter for these two beautiful siblings 💛✨ Sunny and Audrey have officially gone to their forever home — together! 🏡💖

From their first days in foster care to their last cuddles before leaving, these two have shown us just how special a bonded pair can be. Now, they’ll spend the rest of their lives with a loving family who will cherish every purr, zoomie, and snuggle 🤗🐱🐱

🐾💛 The Boys Are Growing Up! 💛🐾

(TW: eye illness) Big Joe, Little Tony, and Brave Rudy are getting bigger, stronger, and more adorable every single day! 🌟 Rudy, the smallest of the litter, gave his foster parents quite a scare early on with his tiny size and a severe eye infection 😿💔 But thanks to lots of love, care, and time, it looks like he’ll retain sight in at least one eye — maybe even both! ✨👀

Not that his vision slows him down! This little fighter runs, jumps, and plays with his brothers like any other kitten 💨🐱 Big Joe is our big softy, always ready to wrestle or chase a toy 🐾💙 Little Tony is the calm and gentle one, preferring quiet play and cozy naps 🤍 And Rudy? He’s the energizer kitten of the group — eating, playing, and napping with fiery passion! 🔥

Their one-month quarantine is almost over, and soon they’ll be ready for surgeries, vaccines, blood tests, and microchips… and then the search for their forever homes can begin! 🏡💖
