Raising Funds To Feed The Displaced Pets of The Italian Earthquake

We learnt this week of a devastating loss of our dear friend Christian. An amazing guy who dedicated so much of his life to not only helping the earthquake animals but all rescue animals. He is going to be missed by so many friends both here in Italy and in the Uk.

Christian, you will never know how much you gave to the world. The animals you saved. The people you helped. The love and kindness you gave to all your rescue animal family. A disaster bought us together, meeting straight after the earthquakes as we all wanted to do our best to help. You took control of the animal emergency with military precision. Delivering supplies and food wherever needed. Organised and efficient, but forever caring. We laughed, we chatted, we helped each other, we helped others, we helped the animals. We continued to do afterwards, at the end of the phone. To be there for each other when we could. You were so kind, you even offered to come and help us rebuild our house if it meant getting back ‘home’ quicker after the earthquakes and were even looking for a temporary campervan for us. Now we can’t believe we will never hear your voice again. We hope you have found peace and are surrounded by your animals and love.

Another delivery of cat food to Marianna today, which has been gratefully received. As the weather is set to get colder, let’s thank the volunteers who ever week, give up their only day off work to deliver the food to the red zones.
