For the first time ever in the country, a 25-day long campaign is vaccinating + sterilising 3,000 dogs 🐶💉✂️ and giving them QR code collars + GPS tracking.

📲 Anyone can scan the QR code on a dog’s collar to see:
✔️ Age & health profile
✔️ Vaccination history 💉
✔️ Sterilisation details ✂️
✔️ Behavioural notes 🐾

📍 The GPS system lets the Corporation monitor dogs in real time making sure they are safe, healthy, and cared for.

Aggressive dogs will be shifted to shelters 🏚️, and awareness drives will educate citizens on co-existing with community dogs 🧑‍🤝‍🧑.

This isn’t just control. It’s compassion backed by science.
If Shimla can do it, why not Delhi? Why not every city in India?

🐾 WE DID IT🐾

Today isn’t just a legal win it’s proof that when we raise our voices together, justice can’t ignore us 💔➡️💪

The Supreme Court has stayed the cruel August 11 order that wanted Delhi’s 10 lakh streeties locked away.

⚖️ They’ve made it clear: our dogs cannot be caged.
✔️ They must be sterilised & vaccinated, then released back home to the lanes, parks, and neighborhoods they belong to.

This is more than a verdict. This is hope. Hope for the child who feeds the streetie outside his gate 🐕

Hope for the old dadi who finds company in the dog at her street corner ❤️

Hope for every voiceless soul who cannot stand in court, but depends on us to fight for them🐶✨

💥 Delhi, we showed up. We roared. And the system had to listen.

But remember this is just one battle. The fight for compassion, vaccination, and sterilisation is still on. And we’ll fight till every streetie is safe 🌍🐾

🚨 10 lakh dogs. 0 shelters.
Shame on the Delhi Govt.

You talk of “removing” street dogs, but where will you put them? Even if every sterilisation centre became a shelter, only 5,000 dogs could fit. That’s less than 5% of Delhi’s strays.

Rabies control needs 4.5 lakh sterilizations a year ✂️
Delhi manages barely 1.25 lakh

Sheltering 10 lakh dogs would mean 2,000+ facilities, crores in funding 💰, land, medicine 💊, CCTV, trained staff… NONE of which exist.

This order is not science. It’s not governance.
👉 It’s FAILURE. It’s CRUELTY. It’s a DEATH WARRANT.

Delhi stop hiding behind impossible promises.
Fund sterilisation. Fund vaccination. Protect people AND dogs.

🌍 History has already shown us the truth. Everywhere relocation was tried, it backfired.

🇱🇰 Sri Lanka (2006): rabies deaths doubled until sterilisation began.
🇨🇳 China (2006–2009): 70% of relocated dogs died of fights and starvation.
🇧🇹 Bhutan: relocation abandoned, and ABC with WHO brought lasting results.

🐾 The science is clear:
Relocation and culling = failure.
Sterilisation and vaccination = safer streets, fewer rabies deaths, and more compassion.

💡Dogs aren’t the problem. Wrong policies are.

🚨 The truth about “dog bite” numbers will shock you.
MCD’s 15,000 bites? That’s just vaccine doses. Each person gets 5 shots actual bites closer to 3,000.

And no one tells you:
🐒 Monkeys spread more rabies than dogs.
📉 Cities like Goa, Sikkim, Hyderabad, Kerala have already eliminated human rabies deaths through vaccination, education, and surveillance.

So why is Delhi choosing cruelty over science?
Removing dogs creates chaos. Vaccinating them saves lives. 🐾

The fight for Delhi’s 🐕 street dogs is NOT over. It’s just on pause.

Today, the Supreme Court heard the plea against its cruel order to remove all strays from Delhi–NCR streets and has reserved its verdict.

⚖️ What went down in court:
🔹 SG Tushar Mehta claimed “children are dying from rabies.”
🔹 Kapil Sibal & animal rights advocates fought back—saying the order ignores ABC Rules & lacks humane infrastructure.
🔹 Verdict is paused, NOT cancelled.

These streets are their home 🏠. Removing them isn’t a solution, it’s a death sentence.

📢 Delhi, this is our moment to speak for those who can’t. Keep the pressure on. Keep them safe.

Delhi NCR’s streeties are facing a crisis and so are we 🐾💔

The Supreme Court has ordered every stray dog in Delhi-NCR to be moved into shelters within 8 weeks.

📌 Over 3 lakh dogs.
📌 Zero government-run shelters.
📌 Countless lives at risk.

We protested. We spoke out. We stood together at India Gate. And we’ll keep going until this order is reversed.

🚨 Delhi’s street dogs are facing their darkest hour 🚨

The Supreme Court has ordered every stray dog in Delhi NCR sterilised, vaccinated, protected or not to be forcibly removed and confined within 8 weeks 💔

In just 2 months, our streets could be empty of the very souls who call them home 🐾

This goes against the ABC Rules 2023, which clearly say that sterilised + vaccinated dogs have the right to live in their original area 📜.

Forced removal of some 10 lakh community dogs will cause chaos, heartbreak, and mass suffering and has NEVER worked. Instead of making streets safer, it will lead to overcrowded shelters, starvation, disease, and death 🥺

And let’s be clear these dogs are not “menaces.” They are guardians, protectors, lifesavers:

🐕 At the India–Pakistan border, untrained desi dogs alerted soldiers to infiltration.
🐕 In Chennai, a stray named Tiger helped police catch a thief.
🐕 In West Bengal, 4 stray dogs guarded an abandoned newborn for 4 days.
🐕 In Chhattisgarh, a mother dog shielded a newborn baby.

Displacement has never reduced dog bites, rabies, or population because dogs simply return to their territories. The only proven way forward is a strong sterilisation + vaccination program, which Delhi should have implemented years ago 🛠
