Every radiation beam is a beam of hope. 🌈
For pets, radiotherapy means less suffering and more precious moments with family.
This Radiotherapy Awareness Day, let’s remember the difference it makes.

Gabbar, a senior indie dog, came to us all the way from Raipur.
He was diagnosed with a melanoma in his upper jaw — a fast-spreading oral cancer. Radiation therapy was his best shot.
The tumor is already shrinking. One lymph node is being treated too.
Melanoma is aggressive, but early, expert care makes a difference.
We’ll keep monitoring Gabbar closely.
🐾 His fight continues. So does our hope.

Eli is a 10-year-old Golden Retriever who was diagnosed with a chest wall mass on CT. Tests confirmed it was a high-grade fibrosarcoma — an aggressive cancer. It was damaging one of his ribs and affecting nearby lung tissue.

Surgery involved:
🦴 Removal of three ribs
💨 Partial lung lobectomy

Eli recovered quickly — he was eating the same day and went home within 48 hours.
Because this cancer has a high chance of returning, he has now started chemotherapy to help improve his outcome.

Early detection and timely surgery can make a big difference in cases like this. 🐶💛

Lisa was diagnosed with acanthomatous ameloblastoma, a benign—but locally aggressive—oral tumor in her upper jaw.

Surgery would have meant removing a large part of her face. Instead, her family chose radiation therapy in 2022.

She stayed in remission for nearly 3 years, until the tumor returned.
We’ve just completed her second round of radiation, and she’s doing wonderfully again. Eating, playing, being Lisa.

✨ What an incredible experience in Colombo! ✨

Dr. Noopur Desai and Dr. Nameeta Nadkarni had the wonderful opportunity to conduct a special case discussion on Oncology & Basics in Endoscopy, hosted by the Society of Companion Animal Practitioners of Sri Lanka (SCAPSL).

During their visit, they also had the privilege of seeing patients and performing surgeries, making the trip even more meaningful. 🐾💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Sri Lankan veterinary community in Colombo for the warm welcome, the engaging discussions, and for giving us the chance to share knowledge and learn together. 🙏

And yes — the food was absolutely amazing too! 🍲😋

Here’s to many more collaborations that bring vets together for the love of animals and science. ✨

Lethargy isn’t just “being tired.”
It can be a warning sign that something serious is going on.

Cancer in pets often shows up subtly — like a loss of energy, unwillingness to play, or sleeping more than usual.

🐾 If your pet seems unusually lethargic, don’t ignore it.
📞 Consult your veterinarian early — timely diagnosis can save lives.

Echo’s Recovery After Major Stomach Surgery
Echo, a 9-year-old pug, was brought in with persistent vomiting and loss of appetite.
Advanced imaging revealed a tumor near the pylorus of his stomach.
He underwent Billroth I surgery to remove the mass entirely.
Histopathology confirmed it was leiomyosarcoma, with clean surgical margins.
Now, Echo is eating well, has gained weight, and requires only routine monitoring going forward.

1 in 5 cats develop cancer.
They rarely show pain — but their bodies do.
Look for weight loss, lumps, or subtle changes in behaviour.

This Cat Day, give them more than love —
🩺 Give them a health check.
Because awareness isn’t optional. It’s lifesaving.

Two years ago, Cherry came to us with nasal discharge, epistaxis, and a large facial deformity. A CT scan confirmed Stage 3 nasal carcinoma.

💛 In November 2023, Cherry underwent her first round of radiation therapy and did wonderfully for a year.
When the tumor recurred, she bravely went through a second round of radiation in 2024 — and once again, she did good for a year.

Today, Cherry is on a targeted oral therapy (Toceranib) and continues to do well.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that:
✔️ Pets with cancer can do well with multiple treatment modalities
✔️ Combining therapies like surgery, radiation, chemo, and targeted drugs can give them quality time and comfort

Cherry has been fighting for over 2 years now — and she continues to live her best life surrounded by love. 🌸🐾
