According to the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) 2024 Guidelines, dogs do not need core vaccines every year.

Once a puppy has had its full course and the 12-month booster, revaccination is recommended no more often than every 3 years, and often even less, depending on antibody (titer) results.

✅ 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐬. 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
Core Vaccines (essential for all dogs worldwide):
Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
Canine Adenovirus (CAV-1/2)
Canine Parvovirus (CPV-2 variants)
Rabies (where legally required)

➡️ These protect against life-threatening diseases and provide long duration of immunity (DOI), often 7+ years, and in many cases, lifelong.

⭐ 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝, 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝):
Leptospirosis
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Canine Influenza
Lyme disease
Others, depending on geography, travel, or lifestyle

➡️ These are given only if your dog’s environment, lifestyle, or local disease prevalence puts them at risk.

🔬 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬

⭐ Use titer testing to check if your dog is still immune before giving a booster.

⭐ Avoid automatic annual revaccination for core vaccines.

⭐ Tailor non-core vaccines to your dog’s individual risk factors.

⚖️ The bottom line: If your vet still insists on yearly core shots without considering guidelines or titers, it’s worth asking questions. Modern veterinary science supports longer intervals and individualised care.

🚨 LEGAL Warning to Certain Residents of Siddha Galaxia

It’s extremely unfortunate that some residents of Siddha Galaxia are trying to forcibly remove a super-friendly, vaccinated, and sterilized Indian street dog from the society premises — a place where she has peacefully lived and been cared for.

Let this be a clear and final warning:

📜 Under Indian Law, you CANNOT relocate or harm any street dog, especially one that is sterilized, vaccinated, and non-aggressive. Doing so is a criminal offense.

⚖️ Here’s What the Law Says:
🔹 Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2001 & 2023:

🛑 Sterilized and vaccinated street dogs must be returned to their original place.
❌ No RWA or resident can forcefully relocate or remove them.

🔹 Supreme Court Orders (SLP 691/2009 & others):

✅ “No stray dog can be killed or relocated. They have the right to live in their territory.”

🔹 Constitution of India:

Article 51A(g) – It’s your fundamental duty to show compassion to animals.
Article 21 – Animals too have the Right to Life and Dignity.

🔹 Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960:

Section 11 – Any act of cruelty (including illegal relocation or harassment) is punishable by law.

🔹 Indian Penal Code (IPC):

Section 428 – Harming any animal: 2 years jail
Section 429 – If the animal is killed or seriously harmed: 5 years jail

🐶 This Dog is a Part of the Community
She is friendly, vaccinated, spayed, and causes NO nuisance. Instead of cruelty, we should show compassion.

⚠️ Next Steps (If Harassment Continues):
🔸 FIRs will be filed under IPC 428/429
🔸 AWBI & Municipal Authorities will be informed
🔸 Legal notices will be issued to those involved
🔸 A petition will be moved in court for harassment and violation of the Supreme Court order

💬 Compassion is not optional — it’s a Constitutional Duty. Let this post serve as a public legal reminder

Good Morning Pet Parents & My Collegue Trainers.

“Cheap training comes at a heavy cost — to your dog, and to the industry.”

It’s funny how some *junior trainers* with just 2/3 years of part-time experience suddenly feel ready to call themselves “professionals” — offering training at CHEAP COST like they’re selling groceries.

I’ve spent *8* YEARS building real results, studying advanced systems, handling aggression rehab cases, and transforming dogs others gave up on. This isn't a part-time gig for me — it's a calling.

To pet parents: If you're being lured in by flashy prices, ask yourself — will a shortcut fix your dog? Or will it cost you more when things go wrong?

To the so-called "trainers" ruining the market with lowball rates: You’re not helping the dogs. You’re just undercutting the craft. And someday, that short-term greed will cost you the respect you never earned.

Dogs aren’t experiments. Stop treating them like one.

🐶💔 **Dear Pet Parents, Please Read With Your Heart…** 💔🐶

Every time a dog misbehaves, becomes reactive, or starts showing signs of aggression… the first thing people suggest is **“Get them sterilized.”**

No one asks:
❓“Did you train your dog?”
❓“Did you guide them with structure and patience?”
❓“Did you give them the mental stimulation they crave?”
❓“Do you know how to communicate with your dog’s heart and mind?”

💔 Sterilization won’t fix fear.
💔 It won’t teach your dog how to behave in a world they don’t understand.
💔 It won’t heal the damage caused by lack of training, inconsistent parenting, poor nutrition, or confusion.

Yes, sterilization **may** be important for population control or certain medical needs. But let’s stop using it like a shortcut to fix what **only love, time, and consistent training** can repair.

I’ve met unsterilized dogs who are calm, balanced, obedient — because someone invested in them with care, structure, and training.
And I’ve seen sterilized dogs become **more anxious, fearful, even worse**, because no one ever addressed their real needs.

Dogs are not just bodies with hormones.
They are souls with emotions.
They need education, communication, understanding — just like us.

✨ Start early. Train daily. Love endlessly.
✨ Give them more than food and vaccines — give them your **time and guidance**.

Let’s raise better dogs — not just quieter ones.

**Because every behavioural problem is not a surgery problem. It’s a human responsibility problem.**

Life doesn’t warn you before shaking your world. And when it does, you truly see who stands beside you—and who only pretends to.

Over the past several days, my mother, her two sisters, and I have been living inside hospital walls—facing every hour, every setback, and every uncertainty head-on. No sleep, no pause, no backup. Just raw determination and love. Today, as my mashis return to their homes after giving everything they had, I’m left with a deep void—but also a heart full of gratitude for women who showed up without being asked, without conditions.

In the middle of all this, there were some silent hands that reached out—not with words, but with timely financial support and quiet strength. My father’s sister and my father’s elder brother’s wife never made announcements, but they were there when it mattered most. That kind of support doesn’t need captions or recognition—it stays forever in the heart.

On the other hand, there are those who feel checking in every 5 or 10 days is enough—like they’re responding to a notification rather than a human crisis. Concern that’s convenient is not concern at all. And when someone’s presence is more about performance than purpose, it becomes painfully clear.
This is for those who get the hint—because I no longer have the energy to sugarcoat.

To my dear clients, I request your understanding: From today onward, there might be delays in deliveries and services. The entire situation will now be handled solely by my mother and me. It’s going to be difficult, but we’ll try our best. All I ask is for your patience and prayers.

Also, in the coming days, you may see me post about a fundraiser. As things unfold, it’s becoming evident that hospital expenses are going way beyond what we had anticipated. To my friends across India and beyond—when that time comes, I’ll humbly ask for your help. Not as a favor, but as a desperate reach from one human to another.

In the end, actions speak. Silence screams. And masks? They eventually fall off.
