All flora are given space to thrive within ... Be it the ones we have planted or the ones that planted themselves... The so called "weeds". Multi- cropping at its diverse best.

The benefit - no infections or pest attacks on the planted crops. The red plantains are 3 months old, hale & hearty as they can be.

Battle of the Capitol!
A daily ritual at , these two mischief makers fight it out for the mound before joining forces to raid everything edible at our farm....be it the banana plants, our fodder bank or the vegetable garden.

is located next to a beautiful natural forest that has, off late, become the dumping ground for all sorts of garbage.

Took the initiative to clean up the place and have removed most of the garbage.

Next step is to put up preventive measures to stop garbage dumping.

Final clean up will be done once the preventive measures are in place

At Shudh Farm , cattle are kept free in a herd and not tied. This is important for them to lead a healthy & content natural life.

The downside - our staff need to pick up & move dung from a large area to the manure pit. This entails a good amount of hard physical labour.

Our solution - an electric mini-tipper, designed & built in-house by our founder Raja Marthandan , does the hard work now. The staff love it!
