Puppies born with congenital defects- cleft palate( Opening or split in the roof of mouth that occurs when the tissue fails to fuse together during development in womb). Cleft palate is a relatively common condition in dogs(upto 25% incidence). Cleft palate in dogs can create various health issue due to its structure.
These symptoms can include:
