Happenings Kolkata We, a group of avid Kolkatans, got together with the idea of giving Kolkata’s image a makeover - of Rediscovering Tagore.

With brand name of Happenings Kolkata, we envisaged our first event, Mahotsav in 2003. Our next initiative, Rabindra Utsav has been a regular event in Kolkata's annual cultural calendar since 2006.

"N֜ada Brahma" in ancient India meant God in sound. Brahma is God and Nada is sound in all forms. Environment, as has been defined by the United Nations, is a set of beliefs, practices, customs and behaviours that are found to be common to everyone that is living within a certain population.
