3 years old, small-sized high-energy Indie female
Super friendly with humans and dogs
Home with garden or open terrace

🏡She will do amazingly well in a home with a garden space or terrace space as she is a high-energy dog. A house with no dogs or other gentle demeanor adult dogs. Has great appetite, will require a meat-based diet. A forever puppy!

Rescued from a critical megacolon situation and recovering wonderfully. She went through extreme starvation and malnutrition on the streets for an extended period, and ended up eating mud and stones, and hence was found unable to pass p**p for 15+ days, with a bloated stomach.💔 Cannot even begin to imagine what Chutki suffered!

She gets bullied on the streets by larger dogs for food, most likely why she starved.

Today, with love, good food, and supplements, tiny Chutki is recovering amazingly and has gained weight too. And a lot of her s***k! 🥳
A slight limp in her hind leg from her childhood does not hinder her at all.

Her amazing vets warn against a repeat megacolon situation if left on the streets.

Pixie's RTPCR reports came in.
She has tick fever with the tick fever strains Ehrlichia canis and Hepatozoon canis.

We've been regularly taking her for drips every day, dropping her back at her place so she isn't unnecessarily stressed out in a hospital environment, and are keeping a close watch.

After 5 days, for the first time, her vitals seem to be slightly improving. Were keeping our 🤞.

We almost went for a blood transfusion yesterday as her haemoglobin was very low. But our vets eventually recommended against it keeping some other factors in mind.

She's still very dull and it's painful to watch our true blue powerpuff girl like this. But she's a fighter. AndAll your good wishes are keeping us going.

As dog pawrents and caretakers, we largely make diet and medicine choices for our dogs. This often borders on forcing medicines and food on them in all good intent. Because we know what's best for them.

But do we really know their body needs better than them?
