Muskerry Pony Club Muskerry Pony Club is a branch of the Irish Pony Club. We currently have sixty five members, aged eight to eighteen. We are run by a Committee of parents.

Muskerry Pony Club is a branch of the Irish Pony Club. We currently have approximately sixty members, aged eight to eighteen. We are run by a Committee of parents, headed by our two D.C.s Maire Kiernan and Lene Aksoy

The Committee usually meets once a month from October to June. An AGM is held in November w

hich all families attend. We organise training in various equine disciplines e.g. Show Jumping, Cross Country, Dressage, Pony Games, and Road Safety. We also run preparation courses for all IPC tests from D to C+. We organise a show jumping league (Jumps Ahead) in May/June/July and a week long residential camp in July. We also have fun events such as Halloween and Christmas parties, and an annual outing without ponies, to enable our members to get to know each other. We enter members individually or in teams for many IPC events e.g. O.D.E.'s, Hunter Trials, Minimus, Tetrathlon, Robbie Bailey and John Ledingham competitions. Muskerry P.C. and seven other County Cork clubs form Area 5 of the Irish Pony Club.

Huge well done to our wonderful pony club members Seodin, Libby, Emily, Isobel K, Leah, Ellie, Amy and Sophie who competed at yesterday’s Area 5 qualifiers for the IPC festival in Barnadown. Representing Muskerry Pony Club so brilliantly in Ballindenisk 👏🏽🐎

A fantastic result with Emily, Seodin and Libby taking 1st place in the John Leddingham Team Jumping and qualifying for the IPC Festival in Barnadown! 🏆

Well done also to Leah, Isobel, Amy and Ellie on placing 5th and winning Best Turned Out — a great achievement! ✨

Emily also placed 3rd in the Intermediate Combined Training and qualified for the IPC festival in Barnadown — amazing riding! 👏🏽

Well done everyone — we are so proud of you all! 🏴🏳️
