hi All
just to let you know of the new rules for dogs on Killiney beach.
From 1st june until 15th September between 10am and 7pm no dogs are allowed in bathing area.
All other dates dogs must be on lead in the bathing area. Bathing area runs berween the train station until end of the stone wall towards the coffee shop .
Dog Wardens are patrolling the area and advice is being given. New stickers have been placed over original signage which said dogs in the bathing area had to be on leash at those times.

Can I ask you all to please send positivity to this little man, He is currently in ICU in UCD veterinary hospital after being hit by a car and receiving a Smashed Diaphragm. He had surgery today and is going ok. Vet said it was the worse case he had ever seen but he is responding well. Sadly the driver of the car did not stop (yes I know you are not required by law to do so as its not a human or dog but still ). The road he was hit in is a busy road and busier at the weekend especially as its free parking for those who want to go to sandycove to swim. Please all check your speed. Especially in narrow roads. In the same road in December a Silver BMW smashed off the mirror on an old car of mine but that is by the bye. Please send Kode your best thoughts and please may he make a speedy recovery and get back to his family soon.

UPDATE SHE HAS TURNED UP AGAIN SAFE AND WELL.
Hi All
can the people of Glasthule and Dalkey area please keep an eye out for this elderly lady. She was out last night but hasnt been home today. She is very big and very distinctive and normally very much a home bird.
her owners are worried.
Thank you in advance . Will be doing all the usual litter out etc. hoping she will turn up .
