Trip to our vets this evening for our Phoenix X Crow litter for their second vaccinations. Corrib Spencer and Corrib Star just when we arrived home after their spin in the van! 🐾🐾❤️🇮🇪🇩🇪

This photo was taken 21 years ago of myself and our foundation female Ralahine Nightjar of Corrib, aka Bailey. She started an amazing story for us at Corrib Gundogs. She was mother to three of our Field Trial Champions, FTCH Corrib Ruby, FTCH Corrib Mafi, and FTCH Corrib Warwick.
It was Mafi's line that we focused on continuing, Mafi sired our fourth Field Trial Champion, FTCH Lurriga Cedar Of Corrib, aka Carra.
Carra then gave us our fifth and sixth, FTCH Corrib Darcy and FTCH Corrib Fern.
Fern is the mother of our seventh Field Trial Champion, FTCH Corrib Jasper,
Fern has also given us Phoenix and Pete, who are doing very well in their training to hopefully compete this season and next in Retriever Trials.
Carra also gave us Open Field Trial Winner Corrib Harper.
Harper gave us our current competition dog Corrib Oscar, who is also an Open Field Trial Winner, and we are looking forward to running him again come September with hopefully earning his FTCH Title!!
We have a daughter of Jasper named Heather, and we have a son of Oscar called Cooper. Fingers crossed that there will be more exciting times ahead with this wonderful homebred line of Corrib Labrador Retrievers.
Dream.... Believe..... Achieve!!

Health testing is always a very worrying time when you have a genuine prospect and something that you want to continue your breeding plans through into the future. These tests are so important to helping our line going forward to keeping our Labrador Retrievers as healthy as we can as a breeder. It's not guaranteed. However, when you make sure to breed only from healthy health tested stock, then your chances are much higher of producing the same.
Today, we received our results back from the BVA for our Fennorhill Berry of Corrib, aka Heather. Heather is a daughter of our FTCH Corrib Jasper that we picked from a very nice litter with the hope of continuing the line we have been building for the last nearly twenty years! The first part of that plan is ✅️ with a clear eye test two weeks ago and now a hip score of 2/2 and an elbow score of 0. Thank you to Padraig for breeding Heather and now, we can push on with her training to hopefully prove she is good in the field with the aim of achieving FTCH Title like her sire Jasper and hopefully down the road of continuing this lovely proven lineage of Irish Labrador Retrievers 🐾🐾❤️🇮🇪 #

Oakleighwood Phoenix aka Cooper, 12 week old dog pup sired by our FTW Corrib Oscar and Cooper's dam is a daughter of our FTCH Corrib Jasper! Lots of familiar names to us in his pedigree!! We like him alot and exciting times ahead for sure 🤞🏻🐾🐾❤️🇮🇪 #

"The Last Breakfast"!! Phoenix has done an outstanding job in rearing her beautiful family sired by Sean Kearney's superb FTCH Kelmarsky Crow. These pups are seven weeks old, and some will be leaving next weekend for their new Irish homes, and the others will be staying with us a little longer for their UK and European Homes. Both Jana and I are so pleased with these little Labradors in their contentment, personalities, and their handsome looks like we try to produce in our Corrib Gun Dog Lineage 🐾🐾❤️🇮🇪🇬🇧🇸🇪🇩🇰🇫🇮
