Fingal County Council's Strategic Vision for Swords is to create a sustainable new city. They have referred to Swords as an "emerging city" and project that the population of Swords will r

ise towards 100,000 by the year 2035. Swords is the home to a large retail and business park called Airside Retail and Business Park, on the southern fringe of the town, hosting many employers. East of the town, running parallel to Swords bypass, lies the large Swords Business Park. A little country town that has since morphed into a large satellite of Dublin City, Swords is literally up the road from Dublin Airport. With a major shopping centre, retail and business parks, this north County Dublin town is now a significant centre for commerce and an administrative capital for the area.

**Important Announcement**

It is with deep sadness that we announce the immediate closure of The Betsy Bar & Restaurant due to unforeseen circumstances.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one that has not been made lightly. Over the years, The Betsy has been more than just a bar and restaurant – it has been a place where friendships were formed, celebrations were shared, and countless memories were made. For that, we will be forever grateful.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our wonderful customers for your loyalty, support, and friendship throughout the years. Your continued patronage has meant the world to us, and it has been our privilege to serve you.

We would also like to acknowledge our dedicated staff, past and present, whose hard work, passion, and commitment helped make The Betsy such a special place.

While we are heartbroken to say goodbye, we will always cherish the memories and the community that grew around The Betsy.
