A great few days on the ground in the UK with N2, providing OssiVet educational sessions, delivering hands-on demonstrations, and strengthening our partnership.
This trip highlighted the growing adoption of OssiVet® and its role veterinary orthopaedic centres in the UK with a growing application in fracture repair, arthrodesis and revision surgery.

Week 2 - PBC BioVet U.S. Education Tour
Week 2 took the BioVet team coast to coast.
The week began in Miami, working alongside our distribution partners to deepen familiarity with OssiVet® across referral centres and specialist practices. Several leading referral hospitals were introduced to the product as interest continues to grow.
The second half of the week brought us to California, where we met with a diverse group of surgeons and referral teams who are now integrating OssiVet® into their orthopaedic protocols.
Discussions centered on:
🦴 Practical surgical application
⚙️ Handling characteristics in real procedures
📈 Incorporating advanced biomaterials into daily orthopaedic workflows
Momentum continues to build across the U.S.

Week 1 Complete – PBC BioVet USA Clinical & Educational Tour
Week one of the PBC BioVet clinical and educational tour across the United States has been successfully completed, and the momentum is strong.
Over the past week, the team travelled from Memphis to Knoxville, down to South Carolina, and across to Mississippi, connecting with partners, existing clients and new collaborators.
The discussions focused on:
- Reviewing clinical applications of OssiVet®,
- Delivering hands-on product demonstrations,
- and exploring university education and research partnerships
The level of interest, enthusiasm, and practical engagement around OssiVet® continues to highlight the growing role that advanced biomaterials are set to play in veterinary orthopedics.
We are travelling across the US for the next 3 weeks.

Case Study Spotlight: Complex Radial–Ulnar Fracture Revision

A 5-year-old small-breed dog was referred after failure of a previous plate-and-screw repair. Post-operative infection had weakened the bone, causing hardware loosening and instability.

Intraoperative findings:
• Failed implant due to infection
• Large bone fragment dislodged during plate removal (non-viable → excised)
• Significant bone defect requiring immediate stabilisation

Surgical Solution:
Temporary external fixation was applied to restore alignment and provide rigid support after the failed internal fixation.

OssiVet® was used in its paste phase to:
· Fill the bone void
· Provide mechanical reinforcement
· Support bone remodelling through its osteoconductive properties

Outcome:
Post-operative radiographs confirmed:
· Stable multiplanar external fixatio
· Correct alignment
· Remodelling within the filled defect

Takeaway:
In complex fracture revision cases involving bone loss, and instability, the combination of external fixation + OssiVet® offers a reliable strategy for restoring structural stability and promoting healthy bone healing.

A strong example of thoughtful revision surgery, bioadhesive integration, and strategic stabilisation restoring function in a compromised limb.
