This shepherd hasn’t mixed to our knowledge .

How I introduce a new rescue
• I get a feel of them for a day or so first
• I only use rescue dogs I know for introductions
• first through a fence but I don’t hold the lead ( no tension )
• I watch their movements
• I keep lead on at first in case I need to step on it ( for safety so I don’t get bit grabbing collars etc )
• I use confident dogs that will stick up for themselves
• I make sure there’s 2 of us in the pen .

🐾 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘀 🐾

Ross is an incredibly friendly 1 year old Collie with such a lovely, social personality. He absolutely loves people, enjoys meeting new dogs and so far seems fantastic with all animals he has met. He truly is a little socialite and loves being involved in everything going on around him 🐶

Ross originally came into our care from Cavan Pound as an unclaimed stray. Since arriving with us, he has completed all of his veterinary work and is now more than ready to find a forever home of his own.

He is also very clean in his kennel and has proven himself to be such an easy dog to care for. Sadly, after spending quite some time in kennels, we are starting to see Ross becoming a little down in himself. He is so ready for a home environment where he can properly relax, bond with his people and enjoy life again 💔

At just 1 year old, Ross still has so much life, fun and adventure ahead of him. He would suit a slightly active home where he can enjoy adventure walks, outings and plenty of companionship. In return, he will offer endless loyalty, affection and friendship. He really is the type of dog that wants to be your best friend through everything 🐾
