Our annual Cara Rescue Dogs Meet-Up is still happening — but we've given it a make-over.

Instead of the usual group dog walk, this year we’re focusing on what matters most: reconnecting with you and your amazing adopted pups 🐶

Join us for a relaxed and fun two-hour event where we’ll enjoy:

• Friendly catch-ups with the Cara team and fellow adopters
• A chance to meet your dog’s original fosters & those who rescued them💛
• Fun competitions/games, raffles, and doggy gift bags.

We are giving away a DNA test worth over €100 as one of the prizes.

Human & Doggy refreshments 😋

We are super excited and honoured to also have a team of experts there on the day ⬇️
●Canine nutritionist ●Holistic Vet
●Dog behaviourist ●Professional trick trainer.
● Photographer
● Qualified groomers offering complementary nail clips & ear checks

You'll still be welcome to take your dogs for a stroll around the area if you wish — but the focus this year is on gathering together, swapping stories, sharing tail wags, and celebrating the amazing dogs that found homes through Cara.

We can't wait to see you there!

🟢 All dogs must be on appropriate secure leads/ harness or muzzled if legally required. No dogs are permitted off lead at any time.
We ask all dog owners to bring their own p**p bags but if needed we can provide.
Emo parklands is a stunning place where we are lucky enough to be allowed to use each year. We ask that all in attendance respect & leave it as we find it ❤️🐾

Molly is a 7 month old collie who is looking for her forever home 🫶

Molly is the perfect combination of cuddly and adventurous- loves to play the day away but turns into a big couch potato in the evening. Molly’s favourite things are cuddles, she will literally jump into your arms for a hug!

Molly is fully toilet trained and crate trained, she is currently in foster with another playful dog and loves to tussle and chase. As she has a lack of personal space awareness, a home with no young children is best.

Happy Friday the 13th 🖤 There is nothing unlucky about this cool dude. He is doing well for himself in a fabulous cosy foster home 🐾

A normal healthy kitten currently costs us approx €200 to get ready for adoption. If a kitten is sick and requires extra vet visits, medicine or specific dietary food, obviously that cost goes up.

We rely on donations to keep our doors open and our animals fed, so please consider making a small donation to us to support our ongoing work and to help these kittens. Every donation no matter how small helps us 🙏 Kitten season has just begun and last year we took in over 80 kittens! Do the math! 💰💸
