Missing Dogs Ireland

Missing Dogs Ireland We're here to help reunite lost/stolen pets Admin will remove any comments if they seem inappropriate.

Due to the large number of dogs reported lost or stolen we set up this page in an effort to reunite dog with owner. With an increase in dog napping we need to be more responsible than ever for our pets. After all they are our sole responsibility and rely on us for everything. At a minimum we need to....

* Ensure they are microchipped
* Ensure that the chip is registered with up to date info (l

et the company know if you move or change phone)
* Spay / Neuter your pet
* Keep him / her pet indoors or in a secure enclosed garden (especially if you're not at home)
* Be extra vigilant if you have trades men in or if the post man calls (easy to leave a gate open in error)

Can anyone help even for a few weeks

We were heartbroken to receive a plea for help from a lovely woman who adopted from us 2 years ago💔🥺 She’s about to be made homeless, and is looking for someone anywhere in Ireland to mind her beautiful dogs until she is back on her feet again. She wrote the appeal below and asked us to post it on our page – please share, or message us if you can help, and we can put you in touch with her:

“I never imagined I’d be asking strangers for this kind of help, but I don’t know what else to do. In a matter of weeks, I will be moving into a homeless hostel because my landlord is selling my home. I’ve tried everything to find somewhere else to rent, but there is nothing available to me. The hardest part is that I can’t bring my dogs with me💔🐾

Ava and Lia are my family. They are my comfort, my routine, my reason to get up in the morning. The thought of being separated from them is unbearable, but surrendering them forever would destroy me...

I have been promised social housing here in Limerick, but it won’t be for another 6–7 months. I’m begging for someone kind anywhere in Ireland to mind my girls until I can have them back with me again. I don’t want to lose them. I just need time🙏

Ava and Lia are gentle, quiet sighthounds: a Saluki and a Whippet. They are easy to care for, good with children and other dogs (no cats), and they are deeply bonded to each other. All food, vet care, beds, bowls, leads and other things will be provided. If you can help, even temporarily, you would be giving me hope during the darkest moment of my life. If you can’t foster, please share this – someone out there might be able to help us stay a family🤞🤞🤞”

Update: Thank you all for sharing Unfortunately she was found & has now passed 😥
