Sadly, we’ve had no offers from anyone to foster this lovely girl💔 Please share to help Yuki have better luck this time🙏🙏

Yuki is a beautiful 1-year-old Akita who we rescued from a horrible situation just last week. The poor girl had spent months alone outside in a small garden, and neighbours had even witnessed her being beaten several times💔 She is currently staying with our director, but she’s frightened of the dogs at his place, so we need to find her a dog-free foster home asap.

Despite enduring neglect and cruelty, Yuki absolutely ADORES people. She is affectionate, gentle, cuddly, loves children, and is happiest when she’s close to her humans🥰

Because she was never properly socialised, walked, or given the opportunity to enjoy life, everything is still quite new to her. But she’s embracing her second chance with enthusiasm and curiosity. With patience and positive experiences, her confidence around other dogs will grow in time.

As we haven’t tested her with cats, she also needs a cat-free home. Experience with large energetic breeds would be ideal. If you’re based in Clare or a neighbouring county (Limerick, West Tipperary, South Galway, West Offaly, or North Kerry) and could offer Yuki a temporary home for a few weeks, please fill out our fostering form below.
