PamperedPetz Dog Grooming and Dog Boarding Dog Grooming Salon and kennels for all breeds based in Moynalty, Kells, Co Meath. Grooming is my love,my passion and my life. Each dog is treated like my own.

I want each dog to feel safe, loved and special while in my care, just as I would want my own dog to feel if he was getting groomed in another salon. I talk to your pets when they are here with me, they get cuddles, kisses and praise. I try my best to remember that it can be a scary process for your pet and for you as an owner leaving them with me. I value that trust you place in me, it is the highest compliment of all, so thank you!

On such a stunning day please ensure your dogs have shade from the sunshine. Lots of cool water too and discourage playing in the heat.
Take early morning or late evening walks, don't worry if your pets don't eat as much as they usually would either. They will be fine as long as they as drinking plenty of water.

Pets won't die from missing a walk, however heatstroke is a real and awful way for a pet to die. If the ground is too hot for you to stand on bare foot for 7-10 seconds, then it is too hot for tiny paws.

If you suspect your pet has heatstroke call your vet or any vets ASAP, this is a real medical emergency and they require one on one attention in your vets, as it will cause their internal organs to shut down.

While driving to the vets loosely wrap your pet in towels that have been dunked in cool water, not freezing cold water, one under and one over your pet.
Drive with the air con on, or keep your car windows down.

If you have a car fan run it too.
Don't delay in going to your vets either. Drive safely but get their quickly

At PamperedPetz Dog Grooming and Boarding Moynalty, Co Meath I can mind your pets as well as groom them. Secure runs are perfect for all day use, regardless of our lovely Irish weather.

If your dogs are playful they can mix with my own dogs, if not they can have the space they need to chill out.

On lead walks are a twice daily fun part of the stay here, with having our own private field, there will be no one to spoil the fun

I only board a maximum of 6 dogs at any one time, which means each dog gets lots of attention and care.

As an ACA - animal care assistant that has 16 years Veterinary experience I can look after elderly dogs or dogs that require long term meds or just more care than usual.

Your pet can also be groomed before going home so they are nice and clean.

Hi all, as we head into the weekend, please remember that heatstroke can be fatal in dogs. As people we love the sunshine, but we aren't running around in fur coats. Please walk your dog early in the morning, late evenings. Keep them cool and offer lots of cool drinks and shady spots to sit in. If the placement is too hot for your bare feet, it is too hot for your dogs paws. If you suspect heatstroke, contact your vet for advice.

I still have no esb or access to running water. Apologies to anyone trying to get hold of me. I do have Internet signal when I'm home, in the car once I plug the modem in lol. But I'm not sitting in the car all day. I am checking in a few times a day/night, so leave messages and I will reply. Hope everyone is OK. If anyone is stuck for anything let me know x
