🐾 This post is about what truly matters. About a dog who came to me and trusted me🫶🏻

She didn’t choose the salon, didn’t know who I was. She had no idea how the shampoo would smell, how loud the dryer might be, or how strange it feels when someone holds your paw.

But she came anyway.
And I’m the one who needs to make that experience not scary — but kind.
Because in my hands, it’s not just fur. It’s her feelings, her calm, her trust.

I always remind myself: grooming isn’t just about the haircut. It’s about how you speak to the dog.How you pause when she’s overwhelmed. How you choose care over sp*ed.

Because she won’t tell me with words — but her eyes will say everything. And I want her to believe in people even more after being with me🫶🏻

In situations like this, beauty comes second.

Now we’re growing the coat back, taking good care of it, and step by step bringing back her natural poodle beauty ✂️🌿

This is our cat - a former stray who decided that we were his family and quickly made my daughter his favorite person.
He is basically an Irish gangster - missing half an ear and with several battle scars.
Professional bird and mouse hunter, fence ninja and 3am alarm clock who howls until the whole house wakes up to let him out to p*e 😼💪
Judging by his face, he is definitely not happy that instead of his usual supply of snacks he was brought in for cleaning and he will get revenge on me ✂️
