Sofia is definitely getting the hang of Puppy Life Skills. The main approach is to guide both owner and pup to establishing a joint understanding and expectation around a strong, deffinate vocabulary. And Sofia's vocabulary is growing all the time. Best girl 🩷

Meet little man Rusty. This gorgeous boy started his one to one Puppy Life Skills programme. I'd say he was asleep before I closed the door behind me. He worked so hard, but even with hard work, his tail never stopped wagging. Learning should be fun.

Bailey had his first working walk outside his home environment. A brand new place, with a lot of activity. Other dogs, joggers, kids, scooters, and more. We started the session like I always do when on working walks by doing nothing. Not putting any pressure on him and giving him the time he needed to get to grips with his environment. Once he started checking in, we started the walk. Super session everyone, Bailey, dad & mam.

Sage started her at home Puppy Life Skills programme. One of the topics we covered in her first session was the importance of food enrichment, specifically how we feed our pups. Our pups need outlets that will address their inherent drive to work for food. Pups or dogs are motivated by the process of seeking and working for food, not just by the food itself. This can activate the brain's reward system in a way that "free food" does not. For more information please visit

Ronnie did extremely well in his one-to-one session. His focus on his mam was outstanding. When dealing with reaction to external stimuli, you will get nowhere if you don't establish focus and strong alternative behaviours. Both of which are started at a distance away from the stimuli, thus preventing flooding. Ronnie ached it all!! He still has a way to go, but the foundation is everything. Proud of you, Ronnie
