Dublin Dog Hub Dublin Dog Hub provides dog shelter services in Dublin and surrounding areas.

We are currently working with Dublin
City Council's Animal Welfare Unit to provide a safe, secure and comfortable facility where we strive to reunite lost dogs with their owners and to find new homes for dogs who need them. All queries including requests to visit should be directed to Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit. All queries from rescue groups should also be directed to Dublin City Cou

✨ π‘―π’‚π’‘π’‘π’š 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 π‘―π’π’Žπ’† π‘Ίπ’„π’“π’–π’‡π’‡π’š πŸ’™ 🐾 Our little mischievous pup Scruffy has officially graduated from the Hub & found his forever people 🫢🏽

When Scruffy arrived we couldn’t believe such a lovely little boy had nobody searching for him 😒 He was full of so much fun & love , he just wanted to be close to you & get all the cuddles & belly rubs he could get πŸ₯° He soon became Mr Popular amongst all the volunteers & even the dogs in the Hub 🐢 🐾

Not too long after we had the Devils Disciples come to visit, the lovely Paula got in touch - She was in love with the little scruffbag & she had to have him 🫢🏽 She happened to be a wife of one of the Disciples… and she couldn’t wait to meet Scruffy ! Their meet & greet was something special … he ran up tail & bum wagging straight into their arms … it was like he knew his people had arrived to come take him home 🐢 πŸ₯°

Scruffy was an amazing little guy to have in our care, we miss his good vibe energy & all the cuddles. We are so happy that he found his most amazing forever home with the best people we could have wished for him 🫢🏽 Scruffy we will miss you so much, never stop being that fun loving , bum wiggling , scruffy little boy πŸ’™ 🐾

✨ π‘·π’“π’Šπ’—π’‚π’•π’† π‘¨π’…π’π’‘π’•π’Šπ’π’ - π‘·π’–π’Žπ’‚ 🩷 Puma is 4.5 year old pocket bully who due to change in family circumstances, they wanted to find a better life for her 🫢🏽

Puma is a doll of a girl, she is so loving & affectionate. She can be a little nervous of new people, however this quickly goes away with a few treats & her favourite … bum scratchies πŸ₯° She is the friendliest of girls who loves attention & being told what a good girl she is.

Puma is great to walk on the lead, she even prefers to stick to the pathway than even attempt to walk on the road 🀣 She can be a little nervous meeting new dogs but soon settles & realises it’s fun to make friends 🫢🏽 She has grown up in a house surrounded by children of all ages. She is house trained & has a trick or two up her sleeve like sit & paw 🐾 She’s a mannerly, gentle girl who just wants to be loved.

Puma was a very much loved member of her family & we would love for her to start her next chapter in an equally loving home πŸ₯° She really is a beauty & has a heart of gold … she just wants to be a little girl who is loved 🫢🏽 We have no doubt Puma’s forever family are out there somewhere just waiting to fall in love with her 🩷🐾

Babe has been an absolute joy to have in our care, she is the biggest bundle of fun! She hasn’t given us an ounce of bother, only laughs & cuddles πŸ₯° She is an inquisitive little girl, loves to see what you are up to & follow you around like a little lamb πŸ‘

Babe loves getting out on her walks, she’s excitable at first then calms down , strolling beside you & taking in all the sniffs πŸƒ She’s a playful girl , loves chasing ball or having a good play with a squeaky 🧸 Babe is non reactive with other dogs, she can be barky at the start out of excitement then gets over herself πŸ™ƒ

Babe really is a gorgeous little girl, she has the sassy personality down to a T πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Babe would be the perfect addition to any family, she’s got such a playful, fun, loving side to her & a cheeky sparkle in her eye 🀩 This little girlo deserves a second shot at life, a loving playful home who will give the little diva all the love & cuddles she deserves β™₯️ 🐾

Blu doesn’t understand why she is in our care, her life as she knew it changed overnight … she’s missing the person who loved her all these years 😒 She was such a looked after girl, gorgeous soft coat , she was someone’s pride & joy … their best friend 😭 Blu is trying her best to cope in her new environment, but she’s confused , stressed & our hearts break for her πŸ’” 🐾

She is such an amazing girl, so loving & thrives on attention. She loves being close to you & will even jump up to give you kisses πŸ₯° She adores her walkies, trotting down the road with other dogs, happy out 🫢🏽 She is non reactive with other dogs & could re-home with a sibling dog pending successful meet & great 🐢

Blu has the sweetest, most kind personality … she just wants to love & be loved 🩷 She would make the best companion dog, all she wants is to be free & mosey around after you 🫢🏽 We worry for Blu, there are not many out there who would consider adopting a senior dog … but kennel life is no place for a beauty who has only showed love her whole life, she deserves the most amazing , loving retirement home πŸ₯°

We hope someone will see past her age & see what a gorgeous , gentle , sweet dog she is & so full of life. Blu deserves nothing but the world & her own loving forever home who will let her live out her years surrounded by love & cuddles - Knowing she made a difference in this world 🩷 🐾

Our good friends at CSPCA reached out to us as surprisingly this gorgeous boy is having no luck at finding his forever home 😒 We hear he is such a gentleman, with manners to burn & a heart of gold πŸ’›
He is an extremely chilled lad, who loves his walks & despite missing a front toe (πŸ₯Ή), this causes him no issues except on a really long walk, it can annoy him a little. We think he’s looks like the kindest soul & he is an absolutely beauty - Who wouldn’t want to take him home ?? 🫢🏽 🐾

✨ Our hearts were completely broken today when we heard that our gorgeous boy π‘©π’“π’‚π’Žπ’π’†π’š, the first Dog Hub senior citizen… has sadly crossed the 🌈 bridge.

Bramley came into our care soon after we opened & he stole all of our hearts within seconds β™₯️ He was THE definition of a distinguished gentleman, the old man vibes were real but he was the best of boys 🫢🏽 He didn’t give a toss about anything, he just wanted to go for walkies carrying his favourite toy & he was happy out.

He’d fool us with his β€œ I’m such a good, old boy nature β€œ , then nearly take the head off a dog who got too much up in his face .. the old boy was feisty 🀣 But we still loved him β™₯️ Our hearts broke for him, kennel life is no way for him to spend his golden years …

One day an π’œπ’©π’’πΈπΏ arrived at the Hub gates, she had seen our feature on Ireland AM & specialised in re-homing elderly dogs, she had come to meet Mr Bramley 🍏 🐢 Before we knew it Bramley was calling shotgun in front lying on a massive duvet, the other dogs on a mattress in the back … Bramley was going home πŸ₯² β™₯️

Bramley lived out his final year in the countryside, surrounded by his doggie siblings & horsey friends, absolutely adored by his new mother πŸ₯° We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect retirement home for Bramley, the apple of our eye, the sweetest boy you could imagine - We will always love you Bramley & will never forget you … we are so happy you got the retirement home & all the love in the world that you deserved - RIP boy 🍏 β™₯️ 🌈 πŸ•ŠοΈ
