Not sure how acurate this is but I know my dogs love their back legs being stroked. I think every dog has their own preferences. Some don't like their head being touched others love it...

Look at this BIG beauty. Kai is a German shepard X who has taken over the house. We were doing some basic obiedience and first steps of loose leash walking. He responded very well to his training as he's super intelligent🐕‍🦺
