Hi everyone!
Just writing a quick post to give some updates for On Cloud Canine🐶
Due to several groomers closing in the area there has been a massive amount of enquiries for taking on new clients. I will be trying my best to get as many people in but my regular dogs will come first.
There have been hundreds of messages and phone calls over the last month which is amazing but I’m also only one person and may not be able to fit everyone in sadly😓
If everyone can please give me a few weeks notice of when their dogs need grooming and get their next groom booked in before leaving so you’re not waiting on me to respond next time! (I’m so sorry for delayed messages!)😅
And if possible please send messages through WhatsApp or text message. There are too many voicemails and new numbers to call back by the time I sit down in the evening so it’s a lot easier to keep everything in WhatsApp or text message😄
‼️NO SHOWS/24HR CANCELLATIONS/LATE DROP OFF AND COLLECTION‼️
This has become a big big problem over the last few months. It’s very upsetting when there are so many dogs waiting to be groomed and I’m unable to get someone to fill the spot last minute😓
I will be setting fees for any late drop offs and collections, no shows and last minute cancellations.
I do understand that emergencies happen but when it’s happening so often it’s not fair on me or clients waiting for spaces.
I also don’t have the facilities to keep dogs for longer than their allocated time unfortunately. I have stayed hours over time minding dogs that are waiting to be collected. I have sheep and horses to mind and my own dogs to walk when I’m finished work so it can be a very late night for me when I can’t leave the grooming room😅
Lastly I will be increasing prices a bit for certain breeds🐶 I’ve had the same prices since opening On Cloud Canine 5 years ago😅 All my grooming products, blade sharpening, electricity, etc. has gone up a lot in that time so I need to try keep up with them all🙈
