💙 Lovely Leroy is still looking for love 💙
This gorgeous boy has now been waiting for over 4 months for his forever family to come along – and our hearts are breaking for this affectionate and gentle dog💔

Leroy is a 2-year-old lurcher with the sweetest soul. He’s happiest when snuggled up on the couch with his humans, totally living up to the ‘lazy lurcher’ stereotype😂! This gentle lad is low-energy and chilled, but he also has a playful side that shines through when it’s time for fun. He gets along brilliantly with the other dogs in his foster home and is friendly with everyone he meets – winning hearts wherever he goes 💗

Leroy is housetrained, super-chilled in the car, and is fabulous on the lead too. He needs a cat-free home, but other than that, he’s just dreaming of a comfy couch and a kind person to call his own.

***URGENT APPEAL FOR LOGAN***
We do realise we use the word urgent a lot and often we are putting out fires in our quest to help animals before it’s too late.

Such is the case with Logan. This lovely Pitbull Terrier has had a couple of promises of homes and has been let down.

His family don’t want him to go but sadly they don’t have a choice. Their baby is coming home from hospital in the UK at the end of October. He has been there for months having a stem cell transplant and has to come back to a sterile home.

It’s a very sad situation. They have told us thst Logan is a super dog and has happily lived with a two year old (they’re best friends♥️) and an eight month old.

As Logan is a Pitbull this makes the situation more urgent than normal. Not everyone will adopt a Pitbull and his options if he isn’t rehomed by the end of October are extremely limited.

Three year old Logan isn’t living with other dogs or cats at the moment.

LOGAN 💕
We get many people contacting us wanting to surrender their dogs and sometimes we struggle to understand how people can just get rid of their pets on a whim. Not in this case though💔. The family have been through a very tough time and need to put their small children first.

Devastatingly one of their babies has had a stem cell transplant and chemotherapy. They will be returning from a hospital in the UK where they have been for many months and the house needs to be as close to germ free as possible.

They have made the heartbreaking but necessary decision to put their adored family dog up for rehoming. They haven’t chosen to lock him out in a backyard when he is used to an indoor life of comfort and love.

Logan is a three year old Pitbull Terrier in Co. Clare. He has lived with small children but hasn’t lived with other dogs or cats. He gets excited when he sees other dogs out walking. Logan is fine been left for up to six hours alone.
