Last but not least, a mention for our Intermediates. 🤩 Cathal and Pauric Murphy, Holly Spencer, John Asple James and Jack Jones showcased what the Islands do best 🙌🏻 And that was storm around that Xc course!! 💚🤍 Congrats to our team of Pauric, Holly, John and Jack placing 4th 🥳 And well done to Cathal being our sole intermediate individual this year 👏🏻 The future is bright for this lot 🐎💚🤍

Our Intro Intermediate team of Kate Jones, Anna Ruth, Noel Asple James and Ellie O’Connor cruised around Tatts in style at the weekend to take the 4th place 🏆 spot in a very competitive Intro class! 🤩 Noel also placed 3rd 🥉 individually! Well done to you all. Your hard work and dedication has paid off 👏🏻

What a weekend the Islands have had at the Irish Pony Club Eventing Championships! 💚🤍 We had 21 members proudly representing the club this year. And what a fantastic job they have done! 🤩 There was laughter, there were tears. There were ups and there were downs. The Island horses and ponies were shown great care and attention in what can only be described as top class horsemanship. A special shout out to Izzy who was never far from her brother and sister’s ponies all weekend! Whether it was mucking out, feeding or bringing them out for a graze, Izzy was on the job! 🙌🏻 The Island team spirit was in abundance at Tattersalls throughout the weekend. 💚🤍Members younger and older all looking out for one another and cheering each other on. That’s what the Island pony club is all about! Amongst all the fun there were also ribbons to be won. 🏆 Congratulations to our Island Intermediate team of Jack Jones, Holly Spencer, John Asple James, and Pauric Murphy who placed 4th 🏆 👏🏻

Lastly, well done to each and every member who competed. 🐎 Cathal Murphy showed us how XC is done in the Intermediate individual class 👏🏻 🐎 Our juniors were out in force this year with Annie Blake, Freya Fitzgerald, Kayla Coade Flynn, Susan O Connor, Freya Farrell, Eoghan Murphy, Fionnan Nolan and Ollie Walsh taking to the field. 👏🏻 🐎 Our under 12 squad of Molly O Keeffe, Freya Kavanagh and Bobby Walsh thoroughly enjoyed their first championships. 👏🏻 It takes a lot of hard work and effort to get to Tatts and your efforts don’t go unnoticed. Each and every one of you should be very proud. 💚🤍 A huge thank you to the Irish Pony club and Connollys Redmills for a very enjoyable weekend. 👏🏻
