Change doesn't happen because everyone agrees. It happens because enough people speak up.

We believe this Bill represents an opportunity to acknowledge a wider issue. Hare coursing is not an isolated activity. It sits within a broader system that commercialises animals for sport and entertainment and continues to perpetuate a cycle of exploitation. While this Bill cannot solve every animal welfare issue associated with that system, it can represent an important step towards moving away from it.
