Garfield is one of the older residents here at 23 years of age. He is still in work and loves his life and his routine. It’s so important to treat each horse as an individual and listen to them as to when they want to slow down with their workload. Sometimes retirement can actually be what ages horses quicker, whereas correct and careful management can happily keep horses in work well into their golden years. 🥰
