‼️WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES‼️

Last night I received a call from a kind local family who found this little breed dog in the garbage full of maggots here in Bali. Looks like she was dumped like trash and then attacked severely by other dogs. With no attention to the wounds whilst laying in the rubbish the maggots moved in. She is also severely dehydrated.

She is now at Sunset Vet.

Welcome to the pack little one.💔

I am too tired to think of a name tonight. On the way home this little pup was dumped in a rubbish tip right next to the bypass in Nusa Dua. She’s barely 1kg and probably 6 weeks old.

She’s now safe with me and will see the vet tomorrow.

Her skin is raw and she’s full of worms.

She is now safe with me.

She’s safe and on the way to the vet. A little terrified Kintamani maybe 6 weeks old and super sweet.

Dumped sick yesterday in Ubud, Bali, she is now safe in my care.

She’s around 2 years old and has already had puppies at least once. Her uterus is infected and without treatment she would have died.

Thank you to Olga who went all the way to Ubud to pick her up and paid for the transport.

My current vet bill is IDR40,000,000 (AUD4,000/USD2,700).

Shaggy was dumped four years ago and treated under the JSP program. Agung rescued him and gave him a life filled with love. Shaggy had been attacked by other dogs and was dumped with severe injuries here in Bali by his previous owner.

Last night Agung reached out to me Shaggy has a hernia and needs an operation. Agung has searched for help but nobody would help him. He cannot afford the surgery alone but will make a small donation.

I have 89 dogs in my care and an IDR30,000,000 (AUD3,000/USD2,000) vet bill. I also have an IDR42,000,000 (AUD4,200/USD2,800) dog food bill outstanding.

My core sterilisation and vaccination program has been shut down for the past four months due to lack of support.

I know people get sick and tired of the cruelty and dumping here in Bali but please don’t stop supporting those of us here who are trying to make a change. It’s not easy most days I go to sleep in tears. Imagine what would you do if people dumped 700 dogs in your home? There are good people out there like Agung let’s help him.

Welcome to the pack Kolong. This sweet little girl is now with me.

We aren’t sure if she had distemper or suffers from neurological problems from being beaten in the head. She doesn’t walk well but when she’s asleep she is still.

She’s now with me and my pack to see if she can heal.

💔DUMPED IN THE PARK PREGNANT, DUMPED IN TANJUNG BENOA BLIND - BALI 💔

I currently have IDR (USD4,000) in dog related debt (vet and food). This mama dog was dumped pregnant in the park and now has puppies there.

The other little black dog appears to be blind and was dumped in Tanjung Benoa today in the heavy rain.

I have a waiting list of 10 dogs for vaccines and sterilisation.

Five of the dogs in my care that were dumped a year ago (they are only one year old) have genetic knee defects and all need operations (10 knees).

I have one dog I helped still in the vet whose rescuer promised to help find an adopter and then blocked me.

I have 90 dogs in my care.

Right now I can do nothing as my vet account is again frozen.

Yap another one dumped. It’s rainy, huge thunderstorms. He’s barely 8 weeks old, he’s sick and has scabies which is probably why he was dumped and is hungry.

He’s safe at the vet but he’s sick.

I have no more words but still have a IDR32,000,000 AUD3,200/USD2,000) vet bill. 🙄

It wasn’t a good day.

Sunday a day off for rest and to spend with my own 🐶.

Instead I woke up to this and spent most of my day on WhatsApp.

1. Walter the old dog dumped on the beach a week ago passed away at the clinic. 😭. We did our best but he had been neglected for too long. He will be cremated and placed alongside the rest of my pack who have passed.
2. A panicked tourist found two dumped puppies asking for help. I cannot help.
3. Another panicked tourist leaving tomorrow found three dumped puppies. I cannot help.
4. Another old dog dumped sick in my helpers home. I cannot help.
5. Another dumped dog rescued by a kind local lady dumped near a busy road. Asking for vaccines and sterilisation so she can try and find an adopter. I cannot help. I have given Nexgard for the pups skin condition it’s all I can do.

My vet bills are 2x their limits at 42,000,000 (AUD4,200/USD2,800).

My 60th birthday is approaching this Saturday. For almost 15 years I have been helping animals in Bali.

I would love one thing, to reduce the vet bills so that I can reopen my spay and neueter program. So I can help these good local people who just don’t have the funds and are also heartbroken. Stop some of the stupid dumping that always happens here in Bali.

For you irresponsible animal dumpers I don’t have any words anymore because it just seems endless and hopeless here in Bali at times. YOU create the rabies problem NOT the dogs! 😤 Most of you have hand phones seek out help there are so many free programs - no excuses.
