Honey’s Happy End ✨

In April we rescued puppy Honey from the streets in absolutely heartbreaking condition. Weak, vulnerable and fighting to survive, she was immediately hospitalized for intensive treatment and stabilization.

But just when we thought she was beginning to recover, Honey developed symptoms of parvo virus, one of the deadliest diseases for vulnerable, young puppies like her. For so many of them, parvo becomes a battle they sadly do not survive.

But Honey fought. And we fought right beside her. Against all odds, this tiny girl pulled through and showed us just how strong her spirit truly was.

In early May, Honey then moved into foster care with her wonderful foster parents Nicole and Rania, where she finally got the chance to continue healing in a loving home environment with one-on-one care, safety and comfort.

Here Honey blossomed into the happiest little puppy, filling the home with joy, love and endless cuddles. Before long, Nicole and her partner Randia realized they could no longer imagine life without her.

Today we are overjoyed to share that Honey has officially been adopted and has started her beautiful new life under her new name Mimo.

Mimo now has loving cat siblings she absolutely adores and plays with every day and a family who will cherish her forever.

Stories like hers are exactly why fostering and adoption matter so deeply.

Fostering saves lives by giving vulnerable animals a safe place to heal, recover and learn what love feels like. And adoption gives them the forever they have always deserved, a family, a home and the chance to leave their past behind for good.

We are endlessly grateful to Nicole and Rania for opening not only their home, but also their hearts to this very special girl.

Nothing makes us happier than a foster fail like this one. ❤️

🆘 Tiny kitten is fighting for life after being abandoned in one of the most vulnerable moments imaginable 🆘

⚠️ Sensitive Content ⚠️

This tiny 6 week old kitten was dumped in a local market where we feed stray animals every single day. Thankfully one of the food stall sellers Ibu Era noticed the baby suffering and immediately contacted our team for help.

When we arrived, we found the kitten in a heartbreaking state. Suffering from severe diarrhea, the tiny baby had developed a painful a**l prolapse, a life threatening condition in which part of the re**al tissue is pushed outside of the body due to constant straining. In young kittens this is often caused by intense gastrointestinal infections, parasites and prolonged diarrhea.

Without urgent treatment, the exposed tissue can quickly become infected, lose blood supply and become fatal.

Despite the kitten’s fragile condition, there was no time to lose. The baby was rushed straight to the vet clinic where urgent life-saving surgery now remains the only chance of survival.

The prolapse and surrounding swelling are currently so severe that the vets are unable to properly identify the kitten’s gender yet. The tissue is extremely inflamed and damaged, making stabilization and surgery the immediate priority.

We have named the kitten Abu. The name was chosen as a gentle, neutral name while the gender is still unknown and us all focusing fully on care and recovery.

We are doing everything we can to save Abu, but we urgently need support to cover emergency surgery, hospitalization, medications, diagnostics and aftercare.

Please help us give this tiny kitten a chance to survive. Every donation, no matter how small, truly matters. To donate click the link in our bio or see our donate highlight button.

But most importantly, pray for the baby and a full recovery. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻

Another successful sterilization day for Bali’s animals ❤️‍🩹

Yesterday, 29 dogs and cats received essential care through our ongoing spay and neuter program.

All animals we had pre-registered for the event underwent their surgeries successfully, while several more were brought to us during the day by responsible and caring owners seeking help for their pets.

By the end of the day, 19 female dogs, 7 male dogs, 1 female cat and 2 male cats had been sterilized — preventing countless future litters and giving these animals a healthier and more secure future.

In addition to the surgeries, 23 rabies vaccines were administered, 2 dogs continued receiving chemotherapy treatment for their TVT cancer and several animals were provided with medical attention and grooming support.

Days like these are only possible through teamwork. We are deeply thankful to Vet Ketut and his dedicated team, our incredible staff and volunteers and every single supporter who contributed toward making this day happen.

Although we organize these outreach days twice each month, the number of animals needing sterilization continues to rise the more we expand the area we are operating in. We are contacted almost daily by people asking for assistance and we wish we could help them all.

Spaying and neutering remains the most effective and compassionate way to reduce suffering long term. Every animal sterilized means fewer puppies and kittens born into hardship, neglect and homelessness.

Thank you for helping us create change for Bali’s animals. 🙏🏻

If you would like to support future sterilization days, you can donate through the link in our bio or become part of our Patreon sterilization program.

Will you help us sterilize more animals? 🙏🏻

Tomorrow we will once again be holding a spay and neuter day together with vet Ketut and his team at our sterilization facility.

So far, 23 animals have already been pre-registered to receive their life-changing surgeries.

Over the past weeks many of them have already been receiving regular meals, vitamins and flea/tick medications from us to improve their overall health before undergoing surgery.

Some of the animals are strays, while others belong to lower income local families who cannot afford veterinary care and rely on our free sterilization program.

Every single one of them deserves a future without continued suffering, neglect and the endless cycle of unwanted litters.

The cost for one sterilization surgery including medication and after-care is 30 USD. To help all animals currently registered, we urgently need to raise 690 USD.

Would you consider sponsoring one sterilization — or even two? 🤍

To donate please click the link in our bio or visit our donation highlight and note “sterilization” on your transfer.

From all of them and from us, thank you so much for your kindness and support.

The transformation of Beki ❤️‍🩹

At the beginning of March, our team spotted Beki wandering along a small roadside while we were out feeding one of our street dogs.

At first, we believed she had no home — but Beki soon guided us back to her family, where we had the opportunity to speak with them about her condition and the treatment she urgently needed.

Like so many dogs in Bali, Beki was suffering from severe mange — one of the most common skin diseases we encounter in both stray and owned animals. The relentless itching had caused her to scratch herself constantly, leaving her with almost no fur.

To begin her recovery, we provided regular nutritious meals to strengthen her body, followed by deworming treatment and a dose of Bravecto, which finally brought her relief and successfully treated her advanced mange.

As part of our program, Beki was also spayed and vaccinated against rabies, completing the care she required.

Today, this little girl has transformed beautifully.

Stories like Beki’s are only possible because of your support. Together, we can continue bringing healing, hope and relief to animals who are still suffering and waiting for help.

Please consider making a donation now so we can continue helping more dogs in need.

USD 5 helps deworm one dog
USD 10 helps feed one dog for one week
USD 25 helps treat mange in up to four dogs
USD 50 helps vaccinate and sterilize one dog

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us and the animals in Bali. 🙏🏻

Businesses that give back 🫶🏻

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jennine from and her two wonderful team members Krisna and Rainy to our Safe House.

Bomba Bali is a Bali-based business run by passionate dog lovers with hearts in the right place as they are giving back to animals in need in such a meaningful way.

They created a special Bali Dog merchandise collection, with proceeds from every purchase supporting our good cause. During their visit, they met our rescues, heard their stories of survival and spent time sharing love, cuddles and compassion with the animals whose lives they are helping to change.

Seeing local businesses use their platform to contribute to animal welfare truly means the world to us. It is partnerships and kindness like this that allow us to continue rescuing, treating and protecting vulnerable animals here on the island.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you to Jennine and the entire Bomba Bali team for believing in our mission and standing beside us for Bali’s dogs. 🙏🏻

If you are around, we encourage you to visit their store in Canggu and check out the Bali Dog collection. By purchasing their merchandise, you are directly helping animals in need too while also supporting a compassionate local business.

And to other Bali-based businesses: together, we can make a difference. Whether through collaborations, fundraisers, sponsorships or awareness — your support can help save lives and build a better future for Bali’s animals.

If you would like to create impact with us, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website to learn more about partnership opportunities and how together we can help Bali’s animals. ❤️

Cosmo Update ❤️‍🩹

Many of you will remember little Cosmo, the tiny kitten we rescued from a local market back in January with a severely pr*****ed and infected eye caused by Feline Herpesvirus.

At the time, he was far too small and fragile to undergo surgery. The priority was to stabilize him, treat the infection and help him gain strength in the safety of foster care with our team member Krista.

And thanks to all of your love and support, Cosmo has grown into a much stronger little boy.

Although his eye may appear improved externally, sadly it can still not be saved.

When Cosmo was rescued, the eye had pr*****ed. The cornea had already ruptured completely and there are no remaining blood vessels to support the eye. He is permanently blind on that side and prone to chronic infections.

Unfortunately, as per vet, that condition will potentially lead to glaucoma, causing pressure, discomfort and pain over time if left untreated.

For this reason, Cosmo now urgently needs enucleation surgery to remove the damaged eye and prevent future suffering, ensuring him the chance to live comfortably and pain-free.

Within the same operation, he will also be neutered, so he won’t have to go under anesthesia again.

After the procedure, Cosmo will return to Krista’s loving foster home where he can safely recover and continue healing surrounded by care and comfort.

We are once again asking for your support to help us cover the costs of his surgery, medications and aftercare. Every donation — no matter the amount — will directly help this brave little survivor receive the treatment he needs.

To donate, please click the link in our bio or see our donate highlight button.

Thank you for continuing to stand beside Cosmo on his journey. 🙏🏻

Spaying and neutering saves lives ❤️

The importance of sterilization in controlling the animal population here in Bali cannot be overstated. It is one of the most effective ways to prevent suffering before it begins.

Yesterday, we held another sterilization day in a remote area where urgent help was desperately needed. Together with a compassionate local community of animal lovers, and alongside our mobile vet Ketut and his dedicated team, we worked to give the animals in this neighborhood a better future.

Thanks to this joint effort, a total of 16 animals were successfully spayed and neutered — including all of the dogs we introduced in our previous post, as well as additional beloved pets brought to us by their caring families.

Twelve female dogs and four male dogs now have the chance to live healthier, safer lives. In addition, 14 life-saving rabies vaccinations were administered during the event.

With this kindest act, the birth and the resulting suffering of thousands of unwanted puppies was prevented.

We are deeply grateful to the incredible vet team for their tireless work, to our girls for their endless dedication and to YOU, our amazing supporters, for making days like this possible for the animals.

Please continue supporting our most important mission and help us create lasting change for Bali’s animals through sterilization. It is and always will be, the only sustainable way to prevent suffering before it begins.

We need your help to sterilize more animals 🙏🏻

This Thursday, together with Vet Ketut and his team, we will be holding a sterilization event in a remote area where so many animals urgently need help.

After receiving a heartfelt plea from a compassionate local dog lover, Pak Widhu, we visited the neighborhood ourselves and met the dogs in need.

For this life-changing event, we have pre-registered 10 dogs. Many of them are female dogs who, without sterilization, would continue giving birth to unwanted puppies — puppies who may face lives of hunger, sickness, neglect, abandonment, abuse or even death on the streets.

This is why spaying and neutering remains the most compassionate and effective way to prevent suffering before it begins.

The cost to sterilize one dog during this event is 30 USD. To help all 10 animals, we urgently need to raise a total of 300 USD.

Will you help us give them a safer future? ❤️

To donate, please click the link in our bio or visit our donation highlight and note “sterilization” with your transfer.

From all of them — and from all of us — thank you so much for your kindness and support.

Thank you for helping us help Gopi ♥️

We are so happy to share that after undergoing life-saving hernia surgery, sweet Gopi was finally able to leave the clinic and return home.

His surgery was successful and after stabilizing post-operation, he can now continue his recovery in the comfort of his home, surrounded by the people who he loves most.

To support his healing, Gopi requires further oral medications to prevent infections that we have provided for him. We will continue monitoring his progress closely as he recovers fully.

During his emergency surgery, Gopi was also neutered to help protect him from further suffering in the future.

He was so happy to finally be back home and the joy of his owners seeing him return safely was truly heartwarming.

None of this would have been possible without your support. On behalf of Gopi, his family and all of us, thank you for making his rescue, surgery and aftercare possible.

You helped us to save his life. 🙏🏻
