We have had house sitters in our own homes; we loved the security in knowing that our home and pets were loved and well cared for in our absents. g, we retired and decided to travel more, finding interesting and unique ways of living. We have been residents of Nicaragua and Costa Rica for several years and we are currently Bail, Indonesia residents. We strive to be as flexible as possible leaving at least 3 days to one week free either side of an assignment, then if for any reason plans change for your return date you only have one set of problems to deal with. Should you be unfortunate to have unforeseen flight delays or cancellations on your travels rest assured there will be none on your return home. Married since 1990, we still enjoy long walks and we both are very healthy. We are drug-free, non-smokers, and rarely drink. We both have great driving records and can drive manual or automatic transmissions with international drivers licenses and are comfortable driving in any country. We are retired so, we travel freely where and whenever we wish. We are financially self-sufficient. We offer full-time living abroad since 2009 with House-Sitting experience, mostly through private contacts, internet, and House sitting websites. We have experience in Nicaragua, and Costa Rica, Australia, India, Thailand, Laos, Hong Kong, Botswana, Morocco, Hawaii, Tahiti, and Fiji...we can travel anywhere. We have cared for all types of homes from small jungle cabins to luxury vacation homes, B-n-B's, condos, to homes for sale and under construction. We have lived long and short term in Hawaii, Milan Italy, California, Mexico city Mexico, Costa Rica, Israel, and in Nicaragua. We have diverse experience with animals from 'dogs and cats to iguanas.' We have had experience with breeding, whelping, weening and training dogs, rescue animals, watchdogs, and aging dogs and cats, vet visits, and dispensing meds. We will stay in contact with you during all stages of your house sit. We completely understand the "missing your pets Skype calls" and keep you connected. Also, we keep you connected **with your permission, by periodically posts of photos during your house-sit on our web page so that you can "check-in" to see, whenever and wherever you are at any time. We have worked side by side for years in our own company. Working together has kept us very close, each leaning on the other's strengths and abilities to problem solve and accomplish the goal at hand. We both have full background checks and the Department of Justice reports. We have owned homes, been landlords, renters, and house sitters, We treat your home like we would want our home to be treated. In addition, we have posted pictures of our homes on our web feed, to show how we live and the standard of cleanliness we bring with us. We are very discreet and quiet and have an understanding of respect for other people's property, homes, and neighbors. Living Off the Grid or in the Bush,
Limited water supply, no hot water, no Internet, limited or no cell service and no electricity, these are just a few of the situations we have experience with and have learned how to be very flexible. In some countries just buying groceries and getting directions can be a frustration for most folks. We have lived in jungle homes without these and other "amenities." We have learned how to live with dangerous insects, snakes, and many other carnivorous animals. We give you peace of mind knowing we are experienced in caring for pets and homes in these environments. The saddest thing we hear from homeowners is when they say that their sitter quit on them when they had "had it." The Jungles of Costa Rica and day to day living in Nicaragua for 7 years has prepared us for most situations. We have the working knowledge of: propane gas tanks, back up generators, pumps, maintaining septic systems, well systems, R.O. systems, solar water heated systems, water tanks, maintaining sprinkler systems, we are familiar with 3 phase electrical systems, fireplaces, and wood-burning stoves. Boats:
Being previous boat owners ourselves, we offer boat-site assignments for clients with boats docked or moored in harbors. We also sit and help with paperwork for boats that need to be registered in a foreign country or, if you're in need someone to boat sit for security reasons. We can handle this for you. Also, if your property is accessed by boat, we have experience with smaller watercraft too; Outboards, Jet boats, and Inboard/ Outboard motors. We have been married since 1990 and together, have lived long and short term in Hawaii, Milan Italy, California, Mexico City, Costa Rica, Israel, Nicaragua and currently Bali, Indonesa. We have worked side by side for 23 years in our own company. Working together has kept us very close, each of us leaning on the others strengths and abilities to problem solve and accomplish the goal at hand. We are retired, financially independent and able to travel anywhere which keeps us focused on the task of your house and pet needs. Recently, we have been housesitting everywhere. Born in the United States she has always had a traveling heart. Having an early career in the fashion industry sent her traveling and afforded her the opportunity to live abroad. She is very adaptable to cultures. She is very diverse and speaks Spanish very well. She has a easy going attitude, lifestyle, and adventuress. She is flexible in all situations. She is very honorable, reliable and trustworthy. Tamra enjoys gardening and is also a real animal lover. She also does a lot of volunteering by helping people and has done so in many of the countries she has lived in, (from feeding stations for children in developing countries, working with orphans and terminally ill children, to beach cleaning and animal rescue). She also has volunteered at a Sealion rescue and a Sea Turtle rescue. She loves wild birds too and all rescue pets. David
Dave is super friendly and also speaks Spanish. He loves animals, (over the years he has had 8 dogs and cats, snakes and lizards to name a
few). he loves the outdoors, especially the ocean. As a former Advertising Agency Owner, Creative Director, and Fine Artist, Dave has an artist eye for detail and is highly creative. Dave loves adventure and has always enjoyed travel and living life off the beaten path. He is capable of doing light maintenance. He will also find things to fix. Dave does understand the extent of his mechanical abilities and knows when to call the experts. Dave loves long walks with dogs and also does a lot of reading and playing guitar. Dave is very trust worthy and professional.
