Pengu did an amazing job today: he successfully passed both the Mantrailing 1 and 2 exams!

This day was truly a special experience. It was my first time following the dog without having any clues about where the missing person might be – I had to rely entirely on Pengu’s nose and body language.

Despite some uncertainty and a few small mistakes, he still showed beautifully where the trail was leading. It was surprising how much more clearly you can read a dog’s signals when you have no prior information. Pengu worked with confidence, enthusiasm, and incredible drive.

It was an exciting experience to feel how trust and teamwork come together so harmoniously. I’m very proud of him – this is a huge milestone in our journey together! 🐾💛

I’m really sorry that we don’t have a video of today’s search, because Pengu performed exceptionally well! 🤩🐕

The search took place in a suburban area with many dogs around. The track was 400 meters long with four changes of direction, and the weather was rainy.

Pengu correctly identified every direction and led straight to the person he was searching for, handling all distractions with great skill. I’m truly proud of his performance!🥰🐕‍🦺

I love that he always looks forward to working together! A real working dog! 🥰🐕

📚🐾 Our mantrailing books have arrived!
My human is super excited – and so am I! 😄
They say we’re not only going to practice tracking in the field, but also dive into the theory behind it.

I’ve always known that my nose is the best GPS in the world 🐶👃, but now my human can actually read about why I’m such a genius!
The books are full of useful tips, explanations, and fun stories – which will make our training even more effective (and a lot more fun)! 🎯

So… we’ll be learning, practicing, and sniffing our way to success! 💪🐾
