Hong Kong Riding Club

Hong Kong Riding Club Hong Kong Riding Club (HKRC) is a members only horse riding club based at Pokfulam Public Riding School (PPRS). All members must already be riders at PPRS.

Hong Kong Riding Club is based at the Jockey Club's Pokfulam Public Riding School (PPRS) and membership is open to all regular riders there. The Club has been operating for over 30 years. Once you are a member of the Club you can take part in fun and challenging riding competitions to improve your skills; instructional lectures and meetings to improve your equine knowledge and awareness; social ev

ents so you can enjoy the company of your fellow riders; and volunteering to gain hands on experience of running riding events. We organise regular competitions including show jumping, dressage, gymkhanas and more from October to June each year. Don't worry if you've never competed before, our events are suitable for all levels of ability and we work closely with your instructor to ensure you enter the right level of competition on a pony/horse suitable for you. Welcome back to the HKRC 2024/25 season! We’re excited to welcome both children and adults to a fantastic line-up of equine activities, all guided by British Horse Society standards. Look forward to jump clinics, dressage clinics, and gymkhanas at Lei Yun Mun Public Riding School. Keep an eye on the activities board in the LYM waiting room for updates, and don’t forget to sign up!

🎄 The Hong Kong Riding Club ends the year with our Annual Xmas Gymkhana 2022!! This year with the Pokfulam redevelopment well under way, we would like to thank you Tuen Mun public riding school for hosting our events, especially Bee Chan and James Kwok. Come one, come all and join us for this year's festive Christmas Gymkhana with a chance to win some fabulous prizes!🎊

Date: 1.30 – 3.30pm Saturday 3 December 2022
What: Fun team mounted Christmas theme relay race/ games
Cost: $300 per rider (to be paid at event)
Who: Open to ALL HKRC members
Clothing: Come prepared to ride, but be prepared for team costumes! ⛄
