概念簡介： 本人為一名犬隻訓練師，從事犬隻訓練工作8年，日常工作除了犬隻訓練外，一直亦有協助某些機構或獨立拯救流浪犬義工(下稱，同行者)拯救及處理流浪犬問題。雖然香港現在有很多私營狗場，但流浪狗的數目眾多，現有的狗場根本無發提供足夠的地方收留流浪狗。有見及此，本人萌生出設立流浪犬暫養中心的概念。
本人認識很多同行者，明白他們獨自拯救流浪犬的難處。當他們拯救了流浪犬，一般會自資往獸醫診所，為其檢查，有時更會作一些合適的復康治療。因流浪犬康復期不定，期間義工要替狗隻自資租用一間衛生及安全的暫住中心，直至流浪犬康復及找到合適的領養家庭。一般拯救流浪狗的費用大多是同行者自資的，即使有朋友捐款，亦不足以應付日常開支，因而在拯救行動上帶給同行者很多的壓力。
*如何令到場內收支平衡：除了租用位置給犬隻暫養外，本人亦會以優惠價格給已領養家庭作犬隻訓練，更會為場內需要長期復康治療的犬隻設立每月助養犬隻計劃，務求從多方面的收入，令暫養中心收支平衡，穩健地經營，給予大眾一個認識及接觸流浪犬的機會
場地建設因希望用到最低成本，所以由本人親手建做，燒鐵籠、水、電、英泥石地等，希望用我這一雙手打做一個流浪暫養場，當中經歷不少辛酸，壓力，但我知道我做的事，絕對是一事有義意的事情。
As a dog trainer, I always have the idea to set up a temporary stray dog caring center. I have been working for some institutions or individual volunteers to help and save stray dogs. Although there are many private dog farms in Hong Kong, there is not enough space in existing dog farms for numerous stray dogs in Hong Kong.
After saving a stray dog, the rescue volunteer will take it to the veterinary clinic for examination to see if rehabilitation treatment is required. Then he will try to find a suitable adoptive family for the dog. During the transitional period, stray dogs need a safe and comfortable place to stay until they find new homes.
Most of the expenses involved to help stray dogs
are self-financed by independent volunteers. They might get some donation from their friends but most likely it cannot fully cover the daily expenses. The financial burden adversely affects the rescue action of many volunteers. The temporary care center I am going to set up aims at providing temporary shelter for the rescued stray dogs at low rents. I will also provide basic training for the dogs to help them socialised and to trust humans again in order for them to find home easier.
*How to make the dog care center break even: In addition to providing a temporary center for stray dogs, I will offer dog training at a preferential price for the adopted family. Moreover, I will run a monthly support scheme to raise fund for the dogs that require rehabilitation treatment on the field. The monthly support scheme aims at raising steady income to meet the costs so that the dog care center can be operated smoothly.
