【毛孩抗癌故事 🐾｜肥嘟嘟的例行小複診 🐕❤️】
抗癌小勇士「肥嘟嘟」每個月都會開開心心嚟搵 Dr. Kurt Verkest 做例行複診！
肥嘟嘟當初確診淋巴結高惡性度淋巴瘤（High Grade Lymphoma），
治療後好快達到緩解（Remission）。
最棒嘅係，佢整個療程都精神奕奕，
到依家完成化療已經 6 個月，依然維持住完美嘅緩解狀態！✨

Our brave boy, Fei Du Du, happily comes in every month for his routine recheck with Dr. Kurt Verkest!
Fei Du Du previously suffered from high-grade lymphoma in his lymph nodes, but quickly went into remission. He remained incredibly well throughout his treatment, and it has now been six months since his last chemotherapy session—and he is still beautifully in remission! ✨
Fun fact: Fei Du Du is a huge fan of Dr. Pauline’s home-baked cookies 🍪! One day during his treatment when he completely lost his appetite, those love-filled cookies were the only thing he would eat!

雖然 3 至 5 月份全港無新增大規模投毒新案，但年初落馬洲連環毒狗案中，受害毛孩高達 22 隻以上。危機依然在身邊，日常放狗切勿鬆懈！
🐾 日常放狗防毒三守則：
1️⃣ 拉緊牽繩：隨時留意狗狗舉動，嚴防在深草叢盲目亂嗅。
2️⃣ 嚴防不明食物：注意地上任何異常擺放的水碗、肉塊、濕糧或可疑糕點。
3️⃣ 佩戴防食口罩：若狗狗有亂撿地上食物的習慣，出外散步時建議佩戴網狀嘴罩。

Although no massive new poisoning clusters have been reported between March and May, the horrific Lok Ma Chau serial case earlier this year left over 22 dogs dead or missing. The danger is still very close to us. Stay highly vigilant!

🐾 3 Essential Rules for Safe Dog Walking:
1️⃣ Keep On Leash:
Keep your dog within sight at all times. Do not let them sniff unsupervised in deep bushes.
2️⃣ No Stray Food:
Watch out for abnormally placed water bowls, meat chunks, or mysterious paste on the ground.
3️⃣ Muzzle Up:
If your dog is a natural scavenger, consider using a basket muzzle during walks to prevent accidental ingestion.

【毛孩重生故事 🐾｜番薯的抗癌奇蹟 🍠❤️】

可愛嘅貓貓「番薯」當初因為嘔吐嚟到 Pets Central 求醫。
幸好喺短短一日內，Dr. Dave就做晒所有必要嘅檢查，
快速確診番薯患上「大細胞淋巴瘤（Large Cell Lymphoma）」。
喺確診後 24 小時內，番薯就即刻開始接受化療。
多得團隊嘅迅速應變，番薯好快就達到「完全緩解（Complete Remission）」，
之後一直身體健康、體重回升。
到今日，番薯已經成功維持緩解狀態達 9 個月啦！✨

【Pawsitive Stories 🐾｜Fan Shu’s Fight Against Cancer 🍠❤️】

Our brave patient, Fan Shu, first presented to us at Pets Central with symptoms of vomiting.
Time was of the essence. Within just one day, Dr. Dave completed all necessary diagnostics to confirm a diagnosis of large cell lymphoma. Within 24 hours of that diagnosis, Fan Shu had already started his chemotherapy.
Thanks to the swift response, Fan Shu achieved a rapid complete remission! Since then, he has been doing wonderfully well and gaining weight. In fact, he has now been in remission for 9 months! ✨
Dr. Kurt was absolutely thrilled to see Fan Shu for a routine checkup this week, eating, playing, and thoroughly enjoying his life.

Dr. Keith 除咗向一班小朋友介紹獸醫嘅日常工作、傳授愛護動物嘅知識，

Outside the clinic, our veterinary team is also passionate about community education! 🩺🐾
Dr. Keith recently volunteered his personal time to visit a kindergarten for a “People Who Help Us” sharing session.
He even brought along an adorable cat companion to meet the children!

Through this interactive session, Dr. Keith introduced the children to the role of veterinarians, taught them the importance of animal care, and gave them a precious chance to learn how to interact gently with a cat.
