🐶 ‘Big dogs need a garden, little ones don’t’
👉 There’s no one-size-fits-all rule! Every dog, whether big or small, has different needs when it comes to outdoor activity, depending on their temperament and age. While having a garden is certainly a bonus for any dog, its absence shouldn’t be a barrier to adoption—even for medium or large breeds. What truly matters is providing a suitable living space and, most importantly, dedicating time to them through daily walks and outdoor activities.

🐶 ‘Dogs love to be petted, even by strangers’
👉 It’s tempting to reach out and stroke a dog you meet, but have you ever considered that you might be invading their space? Some dogs may approach to sniff you out of curiosity, which is often mistaken as an invitation for physical contact. However, being touched by an unfamiliar hand isn’t natural for dogs and can make them uncomfortable or even trigger unpredictable reactions. Dogs express affection differently from humans—through licking, body language, or simply sharing space. The best approach? Let them come to you and set the pace for interaction.
