I just wanted to thank everyone who was worried about me yesterday. Apparently, my neighbors newest form of harassment is calling in a welfare check on me because I was "yelling at my dogs when they weren't barking". I can assure you that me and the dogs are all good :)

Today's dog of the day: Ruthie! I found Ruthie at the top of Ocean View, skin and bones, with 4 puppies. All 4 puppies died within a week of rescuing them 😢 Ruthie was such a good mom though, and now she enjoys being the sanctuary aunty! She gladly snuggles with all the scared new babies and helps them feel at home. But she deserves a home of her own! If a 50lb lap dog is your thing, then Ruthie is the girl for you!! She's leash and potty trained, does great with other dogs, and ok with cats. She's not so good with chickens, but in her defense, they are just soo much fun to chase!!

Today's dog of the day: Coral! This beautiful girl loves to sing for her supper every night! I found Coral tied out in the lava on a chain with no shade, food or water :( She doesn't hold her past against humans though, and is the happiest girl you'll ever meet!! Today's dog of the day: Sweetie Pie! Pie came to us EXTREMELY hapai. She's now spayed and ready to meet her fur-ever family! At only 15 lbs she's the perfect size for an apartment, she walks well on a leash, is potty trained, and gets along with other dogs and cats! Reach out to us if you'd like to meet Pie!!

Today's dog of the day: Poke! From being abandoned with his siblings in a box at the school bus stop at 3 weeks old, Poke has come a long way. He was adopted by an older lady who had to bring him back because she couldn't keep up with that Jack Russell energy. But he just wants to be your co-pilot! He's potty trained, walks on a leash, and would LOVE to be your adventure buddy!! Reach out to us if you'd like to meet Poke!

Today's dog of the day: Aumoe! Moemoe girl is the sweetest big baby you'll ever meet! When I found this poor girl she was literally a skeleton with skin! KARES - Kohala Animal Relocation and Education Service helped me get her to a vet, who couldn't tell if she had puppies or not because "something" was in her stomach. 2 days later she pooped out a whole plastic bag!! She also has a scar that goes all the way around her neck from living life on a heavy chain :( Aumoe is house broken, walks well on a leash, and has so much love to give! Please reach out if you'd like to meet Aumoe, she'd love to meet you!!

Today's dog of the day: Kula. This shepherd mix is very smart and just wants to be with his person, no matter what they're doing! He showed up at Tiki Mama's in Ka'Å« looking for a good time! He does good on a leash, is potty trained, neutered and chipped, and gets along with everybody. Send us a message if you'd like to meet Kula!!!
