Police failed, broke promise to follow up, so here the story is.
I haven't stop crying all night and I'm not sure what to do with myself anymore, as I feel I've failed.
So, many people know, when I came here 4 dogs were roaming, but not completely, they were dogs that thold bastard owned, but ofcourse not when authorities asked or came. Police told me both 'men' as well as the farmer as the old bastard took distance of all dogs roaming, officially. So all dogs roaming are strays so now belong to dimos, municipality of hersonissos.
Municipality of hersonissos is 'officially ' aware of these dogs for over 2 months and have not followed up on their promise to spay/neuter or any other legal duties.
Suddenly, 2 males went missing and only 2 females were left. A black and a white one, if you remember all well, the white one was the one with the many ticks. About one and a half month ago, the black girl had disappeared. I went looking for her in the fields, to see if she was dead somewhere, I asked the old bastard a few times, where she was he didn't know.
I went to the old bastards' place yesterday, as he also has many cats now, as some cats that reside there had given birth and I wanted to see and speak to vocal, elounda, what I could do, as dimos Hersonissos always fails to follow up on their legal duty and promises.
So when I went to his place, he was not there. In the past I have been on his land and he did not mind, as I brought food etc for his dogs.
So at a certain point, I heard tiny meow meows of tiny kittens coming out of his shed. Normally this shed is open, as his duck, but also the dogs seek shelter there.
I opened the door that was closed with a new lock, I don't know how one calls these things in english and he had put some crates in front of the door, to not be opened.
So I opened the door, to see how many more kittens were there.
And then I was in shock. I hyperventilated, called my friend who at first didn't pick up, I called police who came but asked me too many completely stupid questions as I were the crazy one....
What did I find?
The black girl, decomposed, for sure over a month dead. Eaten by maggots, rotting. Dead, dead dead, ì failed to keep these dogs safe as I thought this old c**t was taking care of them with your sponsored food that I brought him.
When I was there, the old c**t wasn't and police told me they'd follow up whenever they'd speak with him. At 18.00 they passed, at 18.10 they left without any follow up, so her I am, telling the world.
I'm sure he killed her. Killed her because she was in heat or even pregnant again and he didn't want the puppies.
I don't care anymore.
Someone is going to pay. If they are not his dogs, and therefore a stray, I'm going to bring dimos to court, I'm going to find a lawyer. Maybe this means I have to fundraise but I know you are all willing to chip in to come with me on this road, and I will.
I'm now a woman with a mission for Mavrouli, as I called her, and for many more dogs he killed. He's going to rot and die in prison if it is the last thing I do.....
