WATER AND FEED WHY BOTH MUST BE CONSISTENT

πŸ‘‰ Here’s why consistent water and feed are both critical for healthy and productive livestock

1. Feed Without Water = Wasted Feed
- Animals need water to digest and absorb nutrients from feed.
- Without water, even high quality feed won’t support growth or milk/meat production.

2. Water Boosts Feed Intake
- Animals eat more when they have regular access to clean water.
- Poor water access = reduced appetite = slow growth or low milk.

3. Prevents Stress and Disease
- Irregular feeding/watering causes stress, weakens immunity, and increases disease risk.
- Consistency helps animals maintain a healthy routine.

4. Supports Body Functions
- Water helps with digestion, temperature control, blood flow, and waste removal.
- Without enough water, these systems fail causing dehydration, constipation, or death.

5. Improves Production
- For meat animals: boosts weight gain and feed conversion.
- For layers/milking animals: increases egg or milk yield.

βœ“ Conclusion
Feed gives energy, but water activates it. Both must be given regularly any break harms health, slows growth, and reduces profit.
