My skinny pups 💔

I'm so mad that I couldn't find anyone here who cares enough to take care of the dogs after I left.
There's a guy who works right there where the dogs are, and I had offered to buy dog food and get it delivered to his place so he could bring it to them. He said yes.

I had also contacted ზაქარას კეთილი მანქანა / SAPG-Stray Animals Project in Georgia and asked if I could get a food dispenser for the dogs (so the other guy would only have to bring food every few days). He also said yes.

Both of them let me down.
The first one never replied to my calls/messages after I left.
The other one actually came to Bakuriani; I had told him everything about the dogs, where they live and where the dispenser should be set up so other stray dogs wouldn't easily get to it. I had been taking care of these dogs everyday for 3 months, but the guy preferred to listen to one of the guys who work nearby, who doesn't give a s**t about dogs, and decided it was a bad idea to give them a food dispenser.

And now these dogs are starving and I doubt they will survive the winter, because people just don't give a **** 🤬

[UPDATE] There are actually 5 new puppies, not 3...
2 of them are wandering around while the other 3 (slightly smaller, weaker) remain hidden under an old tree stump where their mom left them. I found them because I heard them whimper.
I doubt they'll survive very long, as their mom is doing very poorly and can hardly walk, therefore she can't really go looking for food... I fed her today but I'm going back to Tbilisi tomorrow... 💔

There are 3 new puppies... 😫
Today I went to feed the dogs and I found their mom with a new litter of puppies... Three have survived and were eating one of their dead siblings...
The mom is not doing well. She used to be extremely shy/fearful but today when I came close she just lay there, barely moving.
I'm only here for a couple more days and I really wish there was someone in Bakuriani who could help these dogs. It's going to be so hard for them this winter 💔

Back in Georgia for a couple of weeks so I had to come and check up on the Bakuriani puppies... I found 4 out of 6 and they're very skinny and full of ticks... I'll have to get some antiparasites from Borjomi before I leave 🙁

🐶 All 6 puppies have been sterilized! 🥳

Huge thanks to Mayhew Georgia who did a great job ❤️
Everyone on the team was friendly, helpful and professional, and they were gentle with the scared puppies (unlike other vets I've dealt with).

We came back to Bakuriani last night and the puppies are doing great. I went to clean their wounds this morning and everything looks fine, both on their bellies and on their ears.

🐶 I've reached out to Mayhew Georgia and they will sterilize the puppies on Friday! They've even managed to find someone to drive me and the puppies to Tbilisi and back (for 250 GEL) 🚗

🆘 მალე დავბრუნდები ევროპაში და მჭირდება ვინმე ბაკურიანში ამ ლეკვების გამოკვება 🙏🏻
თუ გინდა დამეხმარო, შემიძლია ძაღლის საკვები მოგაწოდო, გადახდა არ მოგიწევს.

🐶 ეს ლეკვები აპრილში ვიპოვე და მას შემდეგ ვზრუნავ.
ისინი ჭიებისაგან და აცრილი არიან.
მათთან ყოველდღიურად ვატარებ დროს და ბევრს ვეფერები, ამიტომ ისინი არ არიან ველურები 💚
