The Red House Poppy Wall
Every November we remember the pupils of Red House School who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars.
A poppy is placed by their names on the leavers wall in The Chapel - all 17 of these in the photo were killed between 1939 and 1945. Oddly there is one name missing, which appears in the Book of the Roll of Honour - T. R. Davies who attended Red House from 1934-5 and was killed in November 1943.
Further along the wall, through the screen, are the copper plates with the names of another 5 boys who died in the First War.

Apple Juicing at Red House 2025
Our final event for 2025 is taking place on Saturday 11th October 10am - 2pm. Bring your apples (ideally pre-washed) and turn them in to delicious juice. 3litre pouches available to purchase on the day or bring your own sterilised bottles.

Show Jumping Wednesday 7th July
Unfortunately the arena has not recovered enough after Sunday's deluge so we are unable to hold the event this Wednesday.
Looking forward to next Wednesday which will be the last one for this season.

We are introducing a new class of 65cm in the large Arena to ease the transition from Beginners to Pre Novice.
Small Arena
Clear Round - from ground poles to 60cm
Beginners - 60cm
Large Arena
Transition - 65cm
Pre Novice - 75cm
Novice - 85cm
Open - 100cm
The fun begins at 6pm

Red House Unaffiliated Show Jumping
We're looking forward to our first competition of the season which begins at 6pm Wednesday 12th of May.
Gates open at 5.30pm, enter on the day.

Red House Liveries Christmas Ride
20th December 2020
The Livery Yard got together to organise a festive ride out to Laund House. Being careful to keep a sensible distance apart, the group gathered in the arena and, after a last minute route change due to high river levels, they set off down the drive to meet up again at Laund House on the other side of Redhouse Wood. Refreshments were taken before the return trip back to the yard where mulled wine and mince pies were on offer.
