☀️ As the temperature rises this week, we want all our furry friends (and their humans!) to stay safe and happy!

Here’s how to beat the heat while still enjoying those tail-wagging good times:

🌿 Visiting Happy Paws? We recommend visiting early or late - please avoid midday heat.
Mornings and evenings are cooler and safer for pups!

💧 Hydration is key - plenty of cool fresh water for you and your pooches!

🐾 Paw check – We recommend avoiding walks during the day, to check if the paths are safe, place your hand on the path for 5 seconds. Too hot for you? Too hot for their paws!

🌳 Stick to shady areas

🚿 Keep cool – At Happy Paws, we have our amazing Paddling Paws, if you are visiting, please fill up the pool as much as you like and use the hose pipe.
At home, consider cooling vests, bandanas or even a paddling pool of your own. Dogs love cool tiles in the house or a cooling mat to lay on.

⚠️ NEVER leave your dog in a hot car, even just to “pop in the shops for milk” temperatures can rise rapidly.
