Sessions like these; where you get so many small signs from your patient ✨

I have been treating Seren for a few years now so we have built a strong foundation of trust. She responds so well to her treatments and is ready for the season ahead! ☀️

Wait for the little release at the end 👅

Patient compliance is not the easiest! 😆

With a little bit of encouragement with some tasty treats, Abbie felt her compliance should improve and performed the exercise perfectly 🤭👏

That is after myself & her owner had stopped laughing at her antics! Never a dull moment in this job which is exactly why I love it!

So fortunate to spend my work life with these special animals 💖

How adorable is Mimi? 🐱😍

The youngest patient I have treated so far and I was thoroughly entertained by her sassy personality 🤭

Little Mimi has a condition where the tendons in one of her forelimbs is failing to support her carpal joint causing hyper-flexion and extension. She is also showing moderate proprioceptive delays in the affected forelimb so in a bid to support her whilst so young, her owners reached out 🙏

Mimi still has a lot of developmental stages to go through and her growth plates are still not fused so cautious rehabilitation is crucial for her 🫶

Mimi was a little poppet for her first session 👏❤️

I’m very late to posting this but a few months ago, one of my lovely clients invited me to watch their Husky’s run at in Thetford Forest 🌳

It was such an incredible morning & the difference in these dogs pre & post run was quite something! The excitement and energy they show is incredible.
Similarly, the time, patience and passion from these owners is humbling. These dogs are quite simply their world & the level of care is second to none 👏

I’m very privileged to provide physiotherapy for a few of my clients who take companionship with these wonderful Sibe’s, helping them continue doing what they love! 🐾🫶

Golden oldie, Loki 🫶

Loki has recently started physiotherapy to help manage osteoarthritis in his elbows and hips 🦴

A little snippet of him performing his pole exercise to increase elbow range of motion, encourage even weight bearing and challenge his proprioception 🧠

He is already showing signs of improvement after his 4th session and changes in his home environment have made a huge difference so big praise to his owners for this 👏✨

It’s so lovely to visit my patients and see a noticeable difference. Knowing you have made their life that little bit more comfortable is so rewarding ❤️

Handsome Mack 😍🐾

He is like a little ray of sunshine ☀️

Mack was referred to me last year following a suspected iliopsoas strain and after the amazing Claire highlighted Mack was showing signs of pain-related behaviour & suggested a musculoskeletal assessment.

Mack started a course of therapeutic ultrasound and we focused on managing his pain first, before starting strengthening exercises 💪

He has come so far since our first session & I’m so pleased with Mack’s progression.
I’m terrible at taking photos or videos during my sessions but his owner has kindly provided updates with Mack practising one of his exercises 🫶

If those eyes don’t melt your heart, I’m not sure what will 😍

Nala enjoying her physio session last week 🐾

Bilateral hip & elbow dysplasia is not a diagnosis any owner wants to hear but sadly that is the reality for Nala 🫶

Following diagnosis and starting new pain relief; Nala’s behaviour was highly indicative that she was still experiencing pain & was not keen on having any physio assessment.

Forward a couple of weeks, Nala’s pain relief was reviewed after discussion with her amazing Vet and we continued going at her pace with the physiotherapy, modifying her walks & looking at how her home environment may be negatively impacting her.

This photo has been the result! Much happier to be assessed & treated for her physio, walks have been reduced and controlled, home comforts are being carefully managed & pain management modified ✅

Now we can focus on improving her mobility, strengthening weak areas & restoring her overall wellbeing ❤️

This plan is always evolving depending on how the patient is responding but it’s our job to listen!
