This is what my next two weeks are going to look like…
I am currently pet sitting 4 (yes FOUR!) dachshunds whilst their parents are on holiday.

We have Dottie who is the Mom, and Dougie, Mole and Vinnie who are her children 🥰

These four are very special to me, as they are my Moms dachshund’s Mommy and brothers!
Dottie is the dachshund who kicked off the sausage dog craze in our family, so she will always be very special to us 🥹

The past couple of days with these lot have been filled with endless kisses and cuddles and some barking in between 😆
I am very excited to spend the next couple of weeks with them and feel honoured to have been trusted with looking after them. They will definitely keep me busy! 🤎🐾

Today we welcome a new cutie to the Collar & Claw pack - the gorgeous Brie! ✨

I will be seeing Brie on an ad-hoc basis as and when her Mom needs me. I’m lucky enough to be seeing her twice this week.
Brie is such a sweet girl, super cuddly and extremely well behaved! I can’t wait to see more of her and spend more time with her 🤎🐾

Pet sitting this gorgeous pair today. Look how cute they are! 🥹

If you know me you know that I LOVE dachshunds, and Willow & Oakleigh have the most gorgeous personalities. Whilst I have smooth haired dachshunds myself, I would love to have a long haired dachshund one day.
Look at Oakleigh’s little trousers! 😆 (black and tan)

Due to the intense heat today, we have spent a lot of the day inside. They have had cool mats provided by their parents and I made them an apples & peas bobbing bowl to encourage them to drink more water and have some healthy treats. It was a bit hit with Oakleigh.

Can’t wait to spend the evening with them snuggling and relaxing watching some TV and playing in the cool 🌞🤎🐾

I’ve got to see this gorgeous face 3 times this week! How lucky am I 🥹

Lovely walk today with Vinny. This is our 3rd walk together and honestly he’s a dream to walk! So well behaved. He’s also so full of love so I get plenty of cuddles and kisses everytime I see him.

Such a special boy. He reminds me of a little seal 🦭🤎🐾

A very busy Wednesday! ✨

Today was my busiest day since starting up my business. How exciting 🥺

🐾 1 hour walk with Holly - as always she walks like a dream and is so full of personality. I absolutely love how excited to see me she is every week. Holly was my first ever dog walking client, so she holds a special place in my heart.

🐾 1 hour walk with Bilbo - today I took Bilbo up to the countryside centre for a walk through the woods. He is such a sweetheart and walks really well. He’s such a character and I love my time with him every week.

🐾 1 hour drop in / walk with Willow & Oakleigh - this was my first time dropping in and walking Willow & Oakleigh since our meet and greet. They have absolutely stolen my heart! We split the hour as a 30 minute drop in, and a 30 minute walk. They are the sweetest girls, so much love to give and they walked really well. I’m excited to see these two more in coming weeks.

🐾 Pet sitting with Monkey - As today was my longest working day during my pet sit with Monkey, I finished off the day by taking her to her mom’s field. She’s had a really good run around and tired herself out. She’s amazing with her recall now and so gentle with the horses. This week with Monkey has been so much fun. I’ll miss her when it’s over.

As always, thank you to everyone who trusts me with their pets. It truly is an honour. Every animal in my care is treated as if they are my own. I adore each and every one of them 🤎🐾

🌞 HOT WEATHER UPDATE 🌞

Due to the hot weather forecast over the next week or so, any dog walking scheduled won’t go ahead as planned.
I have contacted everyone booked in to offer alternatives to walking, as it is unsafe to walk dogs in such high temperatures.

Please do bare this in mind when walking your own dogs next week. No dog will die from missing a walk - but they could from overheating. It’s extremely important to pay attention to the weather outside and make safe and sensible decisions.

As always, your pets come first and any decisions made will always be in their best interests 🤎🐾

Welcoming a new regular to the Collar & Claw pack today.. the gorgeous Vinny 🥺

I am absolutely obsessed with Staffies, so you can only imagine my excitement when I first met Vinny! He’s such a sweet boy, so loving and on top of that, he walks like a dream ✨

And Vinny even has his own instagram page .thebluestaffy - if you want regular updates of him this is the page to follow (and mine of course 😆)

I am so happy to be walking Vinny twice a week whilst his parents are at work 🤎🐾
