With the summer competition season in full swing, clinics are harder to fit in, I have teaching slots in the afternoons and evenings available during the week and flexible hours at the weekend days.

I love seeing how Killinas Oisin and have formed such a beautiful partnership.
Coming 2nd in the Novice U18 , 1st on the Novice U18 at Bovington and finishing 8th at Hickstead in the NSEA 1.10m Championships shows how successful they are already and I'm sure there is much more to come from this pair!

Some moments with our horses feel extra special. 🦄🥰
Our Kilimanjaro is so talented but she hasn't always found it easy to show it in a competition atmosphere.

At our last outing, she ensured that her talent was seen, felt and recognised. ✨️🥇🥇
Winning two test with 70% and 73.33% was a wonderful feeling and a much welcomed boost! 🥂🍾🦄🥰

Poynstown AER J gave me a wonderful feeling in the PSG today. He is getting more confident at this level now and he gained his qualification for the regionals silver with a score of only a smidgen of 68%. 🤩🐴❤️🎉

Thanks to , and Billy on the ground, we both felt relaxed and enjoyed the welcoming and professionally run venue.

I have introduced skinnies to our jumping this week. Starting in trot and finishing in canter, using different lines and turns to improve ridability and relaxation.🏇🤩 happy horse, happy days!

It's been an incredible Badminton so far! I daresay the whole Eventing world has huge admiration for Ros and Walter! Let's keep our fingers crossed for their final phase!

This is the era of Ros and Walter, and boy oh boy are we blessed to be here to witness it. 🥺

“It probably wouldn’t have looked so good if I wasn’t sitting on Walter!”

These were the unassuming words of Ros — who is competing here just 15 weeks after giving birth to a baby girl she is exclusively breastfeeding — immediately after that masterful cross-country clear at Mars Badminton aboard Lordships Graffalo.

“I just feel so unbelievably lucky to have a horse who allows me to come out and do this level when I’m maybe not at my best, believing that I can do it because I’m on him," said Ros.

“It’s been busy this week, having a baby and breastfeeding and all that too.

"Today I woke up and I thought, ‘You know what, Ros? Just try and believe that even if you don’t put quite so much time into the things you normally do, that you can still do it, that you’ve still got it’ — and he [Walter] just helped me all the time.”

I can't quite find the words to the describe my sense of devastation right now.

I have questioned before if social media should really be a place for write ups like these.

I prefer to write about my positive experiences and the joy I get from working with horses as I do not want to dwell on the harder times.
But today really got to me and I hope that writing about it, might give me some form of relief.

This morning, my beautiful and wonderful Maisie delivered a perfect baby filly.
Maisie was in the best place, and despite all efforts, her gorgeous first baby never got the chance to take her very first breath💔💔💔

Life can be incredibly cruel.

I'm absolutely devastated but also thankful that Maisie seems to be doing ok and recovering well from her trauma🦄❤️ 🙏

So for now, I just look forward to bringing her back home as soon as possible, so I can give her lots of love and more tlc❤️🦄

Last week's captures from a wonderful BD National Championships!
It does take so much to prepare and so many people play their part in the qualifications and then again, in getting there!
So it is extremly rewarding to be part of such a wonderful competion, held , a top class venue.
Our test in the PSG showed, that we only recently stepped up to this level.
The Advanced Medium music though, was a real highlight and Murphy showed some of his best work! A respectable score of 67.778% despite a costly moment which I was too slow to recover. Murphy was so wonderful 👌 🏇🌟❤️
