🤦🏼‍♀️As if I need I tell anyone - it’s gonna be too hot for walkies this week!! 🥵Tomorrow I’m doing an early group walk but the rest of this stupid 🔥week I’ll be doing pop ins to dogs home alone. No dog has died from missing a walk - but plenty sadly die of heatstroke when they’re taken out in this extreme heat. Yes, dogs live in Dubai and don’t die but that is because they are aclimatised, our dogs are not used to it and find it very hard to adjust in the short time we have. My advise is to keep windows, doors, blinds and curtains closed for maximum indooor cooling during the hottest part of the day. Provide your dog with lots of licking opportunities to naturally keep their mind calm. Licki mats are great and can be put in the freezer with your dogs favourite - ours is Greek yoghurt and fruits. Long lasting chews and bones are great for anxiety and boredom. Use sniffy games & snuffle balls to keep their mind active. .4dogs has everything you need to keep your dog cool & calm.

From today we will be accepting your cats into our group walks - their nonchalance should intimidate the badly behaved dogs into being well behaved dogs 🤞🏻We hope their constant grooming and attention to detail will rub off onto the pooches so they no longer roll in 💩

We can only hope this new venture will be a success - if not we’ll go back to spending our days with big oofs that plod around and make our van stink! 😉
