Absolutely delighted to report that the bird boxes that Suffolk Bird Group/RSPB put up in The Deben Dog Hub last year has provided a home for a family of Spotted Flycatchers! Quite a rare sight 😁

‘OPEN GATES’ for WOODBRIDGE REGATTA tomorrow …. The Deben Dog Hub will have its gates open from 11:00 for anyone who wants to come in to have a wonder about, dog owner or not! There is plenty of seating areas throughout the field (even a double hammock at the top) very happy for anyone to bring food and drink into the field to sit and enjoy 👍 dogs to be kept on lead this one time. Look forward to seeing you 😊

Once a month Social Thursday .... Poppy helping to collect sticks to boil the kettle later in the social hour! We give the owners and their dogs this task at the beginning of the social hour so they have a mission whilst their dogs are kept on lead, Sophie (Acorn Dog Training Club) and I will observe to see how all the dogs are getting on before they are let off lead to properly interact with each other, this is also a perfect activity for the dogs to have the chance to settle rather than arriving and being let off lead straight away.
