Rosemary Barnfield started RB Education Consultancy Limited in 2008. She is an international senior education consultant specialising in change management. She is a graduate of the University of Wales, Bangor with a Master’s in Education. After working in schools for many years, she left to work for the Wolverhampton Local Authority as the 14–19 Curriculum Development Officer and the Gifted and Ta
lented Coordinator. Seeing that a large number of able students from the state sector needed support to break the cycle of disadvantage and education underachievement, she joined the steering group of the City Challenge – City GATES programme, a £160m government initiative in London, the Black Country and Greater Manchester. Before setting up What It Takes 2 Rosemary worked for Capita/ National Strategies, web-writing and supporting the Gifted and Talented field force.
